These are fantastic. Straightforward and easy to use. Leather, padded, and furry cuffs are all great, but there's something about a pair of metal ones. These aren't ideal for super active play (be careful, you could do some damage!) but the effect is riveting nonetheless. Something about that cool unforgiving metal locked around warm skin gives me shivers. Beginners could definitely give these a whirl with a little bit of safety reading first, although the more tentative sexplorer might want to start with something a little more accommodating.

There are a few ways to use the cuffs. First, and most obviously, to cuff your wrists together, either behind you or above your head. This makes for great semi-immobile oral, anal, or vaginal sex. For further immobility, you could cuff one of your partner's wrists to a bedpost or chair leg. Taking it a step further, buy two! These are cheap! Cuff both of your partner's wrists to something. Unfortunately, in our experimenting, my partner and I were equipped with only one set of cuffs and the clunky thick-framed furniture so often stocking dorm rooms. To resolve this, we suck an over the door towel hook over the bed frame, which, luckily, dangled just an inch or two above the head of the bed. We then cuffed my wrists and placed the joint of the cuffs into the hook. Perfect immobilization so long as I didn't fight too hard. I suppose using these as ankle restraints is also an option so long as you have fairly small ankles and you are careful to avoid getting your leg hair caught in the mechanism. It sounds like that would really hurt. Yowch!

The number one draw to these cuffs is their classic metal design and composition. They're sleek, cruel, and, thankfully for those of us at home, fairly foolproof. I was delighted to find, during one fateful and, frankly, downright dumb moment of solo curiosity sans keys, that there are two safety release latches easily accessible on each cuff. These are small enough that you'd have to be fairly deliberate to release them; I can't imagine one springing lose during a mid-romp wriggle. Additionally, the cuffs snap closed at graduated intervals, affording your partners wrists a degree of security and ensuring that the cuffs would fit most wrist sizes. So long as you're taking proper precautions (do you homework, kinksters!) these are both safe and user-friendly.

For their low price, they're elegant, effective, and erotic. They're by no means fanciful, but that's a large part of their appeal.

These did exactly what I wanted them to. The sensation of the cool metal resting on my skin alone was thrilling, added the heightened excitement of bondage and power play and I was over the moon. The cuffs rattled just often enough to remind me that I was strapped down like a criminal, but not so loudly or so frequently that my neighbors would wonder why I was jingling change.

The cuffs are fairly straightforward. Again, no frills here, but that's why they're so hot. They have a specific, brutal use, and they're good at what they do.

The type of metal these are made of is unspecified (I'd like to offer up "Mystery Metal") Be careful with the cleaning. Rust and tarnishing are definite possibilities.
