The Fur Slapper by Spartacus is a slapper and is designed for impact play. Typically slappers are a BDSM toy that are used for spanking or hitting other areas. This toy has two side: a straight leather side and a faux fur side. This lets you provide a multitude of sensations from stingy to thuddy to a pleasant soft fur feeling.

This toy is likely a beginner to intermediate user toy. It can provide nice gentle sensations for beginners and some stingier sensations as well, but for a true masochist something harder will be required to provide that stingy sensation they crave. But for most users on this site I believe this would be a good product for them.

This is a nice foreplay toy. It is light, easy to use, and a great way to warm up before some more intense play either impact related or intercourse.

Spartacus makes nice toys, and this one is too. The toy is two pieces of leather thick, one for each side. The two pieces are stitched together around the outside. The stitching seems to be well done and there are no obvious flaws or defects. I think this toy seems to be well made and should last a number of years.

I do like the design of this toy. It is a double sided toy one which is a straight leather side and one that is a faux fur. The handle has a nice shape that fits easily into the hand. The edges are soft and comfortable to hold. The width of the toy is nice it provides good surface area when using it for impact play but allows the hand to easily hold it. I have no problems using this toy and neither does my partner who has small hands.

The toy is composed of two materials: Leather and faux fur

Leather is a very durable material that likely comes from a cow for this toy. The leather they use is nice. It is soft and smooth to the touch. I have seen better pieces of leather, but for the price you get something of good quality, strength, and thickness. Leather is a tough material that can hold up to a lot of stress and is commonly seen in BDSM toys. It is porous so it is best to use with a fluid bonded partner, especially if you ever draw blood.

Faux fur will pick up any fluids it comes in contact with, so it is best to keep it dry to keep its integrity. It is a soft material, that does get damaged. I expect the leather side to last longer than the faux fur side. That being said I imagine it will hold up to some pretty good use. The fur is very soft and feels quite luxurious.

The toy has a bit of a leather scent to it, but after about 2 weeks that completely disappeared.

The fur side lets you really hit quite hard, but it dissipates the force out over the fur and provides a good thuddy feeling that is also soft. It lets the top really swing if they want, without providing any real pain or discomfort to the bottom. You can also tickle and massage and tease with it. Run it over your parties body to tease them and get them worked up before hitting them. Or cool down with it with some last strokes or just rubbing it over the area you have been playing with.

The leather side lets you get more sting out of it. It is a harder material and you can therefore can more pain and more impact with it. The sensations tend to be on the thuddy side, but if you swing with enough force they do get stingy and a bit painful.

Overall I had a lot of fun using this toy. The double side works well for my girlfriend wanting soft sensations and myself wanting a more intense experience. It is a paddle, it works well, there is not much more that can be said.

This toy is made out of leather, so it does require more care than other toys. After you use the slapper, you should wipe it down with a damp soapy cloth. From what I have read either glycerin saddle soap or dish soap works great. After you wipe it down you should dry off any excess moisture and let it dry completely before storing it. It should be stored in a place with at least a little airflow to prevent mold growth. I plan on storing mine in a plastic container under my bed with my other leather toys. Because it is leather, it can dry out over time. So, it is best to condition your leather toys once every 1 to 3 months. This will depend slightly on your climate. You should never completely submerge your toy is water. This will damage the leather.

It is also important to note leather is a porous material. It is not advisable to use this toy on anybody other than a fluid bonded partner. Some people use leather toys for multiple people if they clean it thoroughly. This includes soap and then typically exposing it to air for at least 72 hours, and then some people expose it to UV radiation for a couple minutes to kill everything else. If you would want to use this with multiple partners though read up on it, because there are some additional risks.

The faux fur side will hold fluids even more so than fluid. It is best to really keep it from getting wet and fluids, or to only use it with a fluid bonded partner. Faux fur can be cleaned with some soap and water, but you do run the risk of completely ruining it.

Leather should never be submerged in water.

This toy came with no real packing, just a plastic sleeve over it. Not very discreet, not overly nice, but plain and simple and gets the job done. I had no complaints with it, but do not have any praise for it either.
