If you're a pain whore, then you'll probably want to ask your fairy godmother to bring you something with a bit more zing. For beginners and those who like a decent amount of pain without having to worry about it crossing the line into "too much," this is a good option. It probably won't ever be your main flogger, but it's great for quickies, for warm ups and cool downs, and for traveling by train, car and pumpkin coach.
Pros:
Portable and packable. Sensation varies from a flowing massage to a medium-intensity sting.
Cons:
Could provide more of a snap and crackle, both in terms of pain and noise.

This is the bummer about having two different people with differing opinions in the bedroom. I love this toy -- love the way it feels whether it's used for stroking or flogging, whether it's on my thighs or ass or nipples.
The Boy, however, doesn't like the way it handles, so he's less likely to use it. Which means I have to beg. Which is something he DOES like, so it all works out in the end.
But still: I would be happy if we used this toy daily instead of the once-a-week play it's currently getting...

This one is really intended to be a light, gentle and playful toy that can be used safely on the more sensitive areas of the body. We do have plenty of other toys for a seriously blistering array of sensation play options, but Floggerella is a little sweetie pie.
That handle is a solid rod, as you figured, and I can assure your boy that there has been no sweat in this shop for the last month or so!

And, yep, it's a perfect toy for the soft, light play. I want to know how you get it so soft for the massage bit. That was the most amazing discovery to me.
I promised the Boy we'd also get one of those "blistering array" options. -snicker- Since he seems to think everything is supposed to do that.
