Fulfill-a-fantasy flogger - flogging toy by Ruff doggie styles - review by VieuxCarre

I was leery when I placed my order for the Fulfill-a-fantasy flogger for two reasons: this would be my first real flogger ever and I was ordering it online from a vendor I am not entirely familiar with. I had heard horror stories about ordering floggers online and them being less than exceptional. I was nervous when the box arrived, but that nervousness was quelled rather quickly. I will get to all of that later on in the review under the experience section so that I can focus on the best uses for this wonderful flogger.

The Fulfill-a-fantasy flogger is great to use in the bedroom or out at a play party if you are into the local BDSM scene. I wouldn't suggest using it in too small a space, though, as the falls of the flogger are rather lengthy and you need a bit of room in which to swing it without hitting anything or anyone other than your partner. I am a novice user of a flogger, though I have had them used on me plenty in the past. If you are just starting out with using floggers, I would recommend starting with this one. If you are more experienced with using floggers, this flogger is also a great tool for you if you enjoy a bit softer toys that still remind your partner who is in charge.

Looking at photos of the Fulfill-a-fantasy flogger does not do the toy justice at all. When the flogger arrived and I removed it from the packaging, I was in awe at the craftsmanship and skill put into the toy. The handle is beautifully woven into a checkered pattern with light pink and black leather. The heads of the handle are woven tightly with black leather and are extremely snug. They won't pop off or fall apart after using the flogger a few times on your partner. The falls themselves are made of light pink and black soft suede. The soft suede allows for a bit of light impact play and even a bit of harder play. The tips of the falls have a tendency to wrap around tender, heated flesh and give a little tremor to your partner as well as remind them of who is in control at the moment. If you enjoy both the stingy and thuddy sensations a flogger can provide, this flogger does both, though it is more thuddy than stingy. The sting occurs when the tips of the falls wrap around the skin or catch hold of extremely sensitive areas. The falls are a bit long and a bit of space is needed to avoid contact with anyone or anything else as I stated before. Also, because the falls are a bit lengthy, the flogger is a bit harder to control. I would suggest practicing on a stationary object before using it on a person. Though the falls are a bit long, the flogger is not all that heavy. If you are a beginner with flogging and do not want to start off with anything too bulky or heavy, I would suggest this flogger as a starter piece.

All in all, the flogger is very well made and I honestly do not anticipate it falling apart any time in the near to distant future.

Did this flogger meet my needs and expectations? Absolutely not. This flogger far surpassed both my needs and expectations. I did not expect it to provide the impact or the sting that it did and still does. I used the flogger on a friend of mine and got quite a response from her. As she put it, "those tips are deadly when they wrap around, but my God do they feel good!" I noted that while using it on her, it provides quite the "thwack" that many flogger users desire to hear while flogging his/her partner. When I had the flogger used on me, I noted what my partner had stated about the sting of the tips. It is a mild sting, but a sting nonetheless. The flogging I received felt like a massage, which is also what my partner stated after we had finished playing. While it may not do the "damage" that you would like, it is a good instrument for warming up to heavier play, light play, beginner's play, or sensation play.

With leather and suede, I would invest in cleaner designed for the materials themselves. I wouldn't risk using soap and water on them or any other cleaning solution usually provided at play spaces because of the texture of the suede. You definitely want to proceed with caution when cleaning so as to not ruin the suede for it could effect future use if damaged.

When storing the flogger, it is honestly best to hang it in your closet if you have the room so that the falls do not get crumpled in a bag. Leaving the falls to hang allows for the flogger to be ready for use at any time. Crumpled falls could lead to different effects during play and could, ultimately, damage the flogger permanently if left in a bag bunched up for extended periods of time. By extended periods of time, I mean months and even years.

This flogger has both a Vroom and Bee rating due to the fact that the flogger provides a slight bit of intense play if used for that purpose and that upon impact the flogger provides a nice "thwack" that can be heard if you are within earshot of a scene with the flogger.

As I stated before, I am very leery about buying BDSM toys online, especially a flogger. When I received it, I was stunned at the intricate design and the superb work performed on the flogger. Though it comes packaged in a plastic sleeve, the falls were neat, straight, and very soft to the touch. The leather work in the handle was amazing and at a level I have seen expert flogger makers do. Using it was even more amazing, as it provided the soft, but intense play that I desired. I definitely was impressed and still am since I received my flogger. I definitely recommend it to any and all BDSM players.
