Fit To Be Tied
If you are curious about the art of rope bondage and have an artistic leaning you can have a lot of fun with this rope. If you want to spice up your bedroom play with a little bondage this is a perfect rope to start with!Published: March 12, 2010
Pros:
Soft on the skin, easy to manipulate and a decent length for many different ties.
Cons:
The small knots booklet wasn't really useful at all, the ends are not sealed.
Doc Johnson delivers a beautiful 32 feet (10 meters) of soft, supple Japanese Bondage Rope which doesn't chafe or irritate your skin.
An excellent length to use for a plethora of bondage ties. I got the black and the purple rope and the colors are vibrant and do not run when washing. You will need to wash this after play as, being cotton, it is absorbent so if using with sexual play remember to wash it afterwards. Simply pop into a delicates bag and plonk it in the washing machine on a cold wash on a gentle cycle. To dry, I hang over a coathanger and drip dry out of direct sunlight.
The ends are not sealed so you will need to attend to this issue before you play with it. I tied simple tight knots in each end. you can use insulation tape bound tightly around each end and then simply trim it nice and tidy halfway through the bound area. Or if you are feeling adventurous, you can use a needle and cotton and pierce through the center of the rope and then wrap around it tightly and sew back into the rope when you are satisfied with the binding.
The rope is lovely to play with and use with Kinbaku type bondage tying. The colors allow for some very aesthetic ties. It retains its color vibrancy and tensile strength and there is a wee booklet with a few basic knots that comes with it. I didn't really find that useful at all. I do recommend you invest in a good rope bondage book to learn a few basic ties. EF does have a couple good ones in the BDSM section in the books area.
For safety purposes, please do not use this rope as a suspension rope. Stronger, more suitable rope is better used for suspension and also make sure you do any suspension bondage with an experienced practitioner or do some classes.
You can practice on yourself with quite a few ties or gather a couple of kinky minded friends who are curious to try the art of rope bondage or even better spice your bedroom play up with a little rope and imagination and a couple of books with an eager partner.

Experience
I love this rope! It's wonderfully soft and easy to use and the colors make for some gorgeous artistic rope work on the body. This has become yet another favorite addition to my kinky toybox. If you are wanting to try a little rope bondage this is an excellent rope to use. I do suggest you consider purchasing a book to help you along the way. I've had great fun with this rope and the Two Knotty Boys book "Showing You The Ropes". Awesome fun!
