A newly developed interest in cock and ball, chastity play prompted me to order and try the Five Gates of Hell cock and ball toy offering from Doc Johnson as my first foray into the cock and ball toy experience. The toy does have some nice features and out of the package I found it very ascetically pleasing and I was anxious to give it a test drive.

Design

The toy features solid construction with a series of five metal rings connected by a good quality leather strap. At the very end of the toy there is a smaller metal ring designed as a connection for a leash.

Toy Experience

I first put the toy on while my penis was in a flaccid state, placing the largest metal ring over the base of my penis and behind my balls in the normal way of putting on a cock ring. I then inserted my shaft through the remaining four rings which are attached by a leather strap. Rings 3 through 4 are of the same diameter, slightly smaller than the first and the last ring at the end is the smallest of the five. Immediately I felt that the toy was oversized for my particular penis as it did not fit well at all. I am certainly not large by any means but having done my homework on the average sizes of both erect and flaccid penises I happen to know that I fall squarely in the middle of the “average” range. After spending a few moments stimulating myself to erection, I was again disappointed to find that the toy was simply too large to accomplish the effects I had expected. The length of the strap caused the final ring at the very end of the toy to barely go over the tip of my erect penis and all of the intermediate metal rings were oversized and were not at all tight against the skin of my erect shaft. The leather strap is not adjustable nor was there any claim on the part of the manufacturer that it was. Obviously a toy of this kind must be designed to accommodate a range of penis sizes but it certainly misses the mark for men with average sized or smaller penises. I believe a man would have to be at least on the lower end of the “large” range both with respect to length and girth to find this toy to be satisfactory at all. I was very disappointed in the toy and will not get much use for it in the way I had expected. My low rating is based primarily on the lack of versatility.

Who Should Buy It

I think men looking for a low cost entry into cock and ball toy play and who possess a penis definitely on the larger size would be most pleased with the Five Gates of Hell. Men with smaller to average sized penises should not buy it as I think they will be disappointed with it as I was. The toy does seem very well constructed which is what I expect from Doc Johnson toys and I’m certain it would prove very durable.
