Rainbow nights paddle review

I was excited when the Rainbow Nights Paddle arrived in the mail to complement my growing collection of spanking implements.  Handcrafted in India for Ruff Doggie Styles, the paddle is aptly described as a ‘work of art’ which is as well suited for hanging on the wall as it is for playing in your bedroom.  One side of the paddle is a rich, black leather surface, and the other is black velvet with intricate silver embroidering and beadwork, making the paddle as attractive to look at as it is fun to use.  Because every paddle is hand stitched, each is an individual and unique work of art.  The velvet surface is firmly and neatly stitched to the leather backing, and the paddle gives every appearance of being well constructed; although I don’t think the paddle is intended to be used on both sides due to the delicate beadwork on the embroidered, black velvet side.  

We wasted no time in giving the Rainbow Nights its first tryout!  My husband found the paddle to be the perfect size for his grip.  Although the handle might be a little on the small side for someone with larger than average hands, it is definitely easier to handle than a ping-pong paddle because the handle is a little longer and has a nice, gentle curve which fits the average hand comfortably.  As a result, the paddle is easy to grip securely even while it is applied vigorously.  The business end of the paddle is a little longer and narrower than the blade of a ping-pong paddle, and is just the right size to make full and pleasant contact with a butt cheek.  

In choosing a spanking implement, the choice is between rigidity and flexibility on one hand, and ‘sting’ and ‘thud’ on the other.  For example, a wooden fraternity paddle is 'thuddy' and 'rigid,' while a crop is ‘flexible’ and ‘stingy.'  The Rainbow Nights Paddle sits comfortably in the middle of each scale.  I found the blade on this paddle to be just the right size; after a few dozen strokes, a quick glimpse of my ass in the mirror showed that my butt cheeks had a nice, even red glow which matched the glow I felt inside!  A pleasant surprise was that I could definitely feel a tingly, warming effect of the leather on my skin, more so than the sensation I receive from a wooden spanking implement.
 
Because it is my first leather paddle, the Rainbow Nights Paddle perfectly complements our collection of spanking toys, which tend towards the ends of the spanking spectrum, being either ‘thuddy’ and 'rigid' or ‘stingy’ and 'flexible.' If you don’t own a leather paddle of this size, you owe it to yourself to add one to your collection!
