These toys seem marketed for novice kinksters who are just trying out percussion toys for the first time and may not have anything quality to compare them to. The delicate design is not firm enough to bestow anything but a lazy flap, and because of this it is also not very accurate. It kind-of flip-flops around and once bent is not flexible enough to bend back into its original shape.

All in all, I like the slapper. It is a good grade, firm leather. The double layered slapper does make its bark slightly worse than its bite.
