Fluffy Ticklish Fun
Inexpensive but not cheap, this tickler will last through many sessions. It offers a luxurious type of brush that lends itself very well to sensation play. Care should be taken to keep this baby dry and out of direct sunlight to protect the delicate feathers. Sigel and I love sensual play so we are always looking for things that have textures to tease and excite the senses. We love feather ticklers and we also love Sportsheets products, so for us this feather tickler was a no-brainer.
The color choice on these ticklers is amazing! They come in grape, red, violet, rose, brown and black, so there's a color here to suit everyone. The feathers are evenly colored in eye popping, beautiful shades from root to tip while iridescent shading of other colors make each tickler unique and just gorgeous. The softer downier feathers at the base near the connector are dense, extremely soft and attached firmly. This soft down will not tear off with even rough handling though you need to take care that massage oils and bodily fluids don't gum them up.
Should this toy get dirty, simply take a damp washcloth or paper towel and run it with the grain over the feathers, individually taking care not to soak them. Use a hairdryer set on cold to dry them fully or hang in a well ventilated area out of the sun. Store your tickler in a dry area out of direct sunlight and shake the feather tickler outside to remove any dust that might accumulate during storage.
The feathers are arranged in a star burst pattern with longer trailing feathers on the outsides for a very unique sensation that feels luxurious rather than uncomfortably ticklish. The feathers themselves measure a whopping 7 inches in length. The shaft (little over 12 inches) is made from black pvc plastic and has a handle (3 1/2 inches) that is easy to grip. The feathers are attached to the shaft with a little pvc cup, into which they are glued. Even with vigorous shaking and tugging, the feathers have remained firmly attached though the softer downy feathers have floated off just a tad. It hasn't lost enough to affect the look or feel of the tickler.
The shaft is very flexible and can be used as a gentle crop if you desire. The sensation of a sharp little sting followed by the luxurious brush or twirl of feathers is mind bending especially when you add a blindfold to the mix!
The toy comes in a clear plastic sleeve with a cardboard banner stapled to the top. While it isn't the prettiest packaging, it does protect the toy and can be used to keep the feathers dust free. If you choose not to save the packaging, it is at least very minimalistic and recyclable.

Experience
This toy will soak up fragrances in the area where it is kept. To fragrance it yourself take a perfume you love and spray a tiny bit into the air. Shake the tickler through the resulting mist and voila! You could spray the tickler itself but be VERY sparing as water or oil can make the feathers stick together, lessening the beauty of the piece. 'Course for $8.99 if it gets to looking ratty you can replace it with two more!
We have found that using one tickler is amazing but when paired with another it ups the amount of stimulation into the mind blowing category. I like to take one starburst tickler and run it down one side of my partner's body while twirling the other up his other side. If you have more than two players in the room and enough ticklers to go around can make the "victim" literally overstimulated, in a good way. This is just a fun toy that you can run just about anywhere; over the face, neck, breasts, belly, genitals and thighs, knees and feet.

This toy can be easily paired with a naughty maids outfit for a lovely effect! We have used this feather tickler extensively and still the feathers look vibrant and lovely. None of them have fallen out, they are still lovely and lush looking. One for each hand is still the best way to use them! :)
