For the Softer Side

This is probably the nicest toy for the least amount of money I have ever bought. It isn't large it's almost 9 inches from top of plumage to end of plastic stick but it is so soft and luxurious feeling that it is going to be a favorite of mine for a while I think. It is very well constructed and has a sturdy feel for all that it is so small.
The tickler is made of feathers that are silky in feel and are rather delicate though they don't shed or feel bristly like some cheaper feather toys. Pulling gently on the feathers didn't cause any damage or separating of the individual feathers from the plastic holder, a definite plus in my book. The plastic is firm and doesn't bend easily which indicates that it should last a good long time with proper care. The color of the feathers is vibrant and even from base to tip of the plumage.
The feel on skin is very soft and yet substantial. There is good coverage if you are using a firm stroke and it can also deliver a whisper soft tickle. It feels especially nice over the breasts and nipple area and when run up the inside of the leg. It is a feather toy so contact with oils and body secretions should be avoided. It can't be easily washed and certainly shouldn't be dried with high heat. Given the price though, cleaning and longevity shouldn't be a large issue, and with care it should last for a good long time.
I keep my oils in a box by my bed and the tickler ended up being stored in a compartment of the box away from the oils. The next day the tickler smelled like a wonderful combination of the scents and made running it over the face a really nice experience. The feathers have very little scent of their own and pick up scents easily, though I wouldn't recommend spraying anything on the feathers as they are rather fluffy, storing the tickler in a box where containers of perfume or scented oil are kept will give the toy a nice fragrance.
With a blindfold this toy would open up a world of exciting sensations from the face to the tips of the toes. I highly recommend this toy to any one who has a toy box and is looking for a softer more sensual experience.

This was one of the most surprising items I have bought. It was very cheap and I didn't expect it to last but it is still just as soft and fuzzy as it was the day I received it! With minimal care it has maintained it's plushness and the plumes are still firmly attached. The plastic handle is still unbent and looks brand new despite frequent use. It is almost a staple of our bed play now and if it somehow broke or wore out I'd replace it as quickly as I could. Still I think by the time that happens it won't be available just because too many years will have passed! For an inexpensive, durable toy the playful tickler hits the mark!

How durable is this,can anyone answer?does the feather rip/break easily?it looks fun,but I wouldn't want feather fluff when I go to play

Well, it's got about 8 reviews on it, including my own, that could help you out there.
The feathers will probably come out easily if you pull on them, but just during play? You should be fine. You can twirl it around and get rid of any that might shed before you start playing. But honestly, for $4, this is a really good buy. -

Nice review, thanks for including information on care and cleaning as well as a nice way to get a light scent on the feathers. Using it with a blindfold is a great idea as well.
Do you know what the length of the handle and feather is on this one im looking for a smaller tickler and i think this one might be it
This is a rather small toy the total length of the toy from tip of feather to bottom of handle is 9 inches. The feather part is about 3 1/2 inches and the handle is about 5 1/2 inches. It is very slim around though when layed down the feather part is about 5 inches from side to side. The handle is thinner than a pencil. If you are looking for a smaller tickler then this little baby is a steal!
I'd be one of those evil, mean people that turned the toy around and used the plastic to spank someone. But it's good for the price. I think I'm going to look into this for sensation play. Thanks for the review.
