The Double Locking Nickel Handcuffs by Spartacus are very sturdy and high quality. No matter how hard you pull, they will not give in any way. They are heavier than most cuffs traditionally sold as sex toys, I found the actual weight to be surprising out of the package.

Just like the name implies, these are made of nickel, very similar to standard police or military issue cuffs and each cuff has a lock of its own, meaning that each cuff must be unlocked separately. This allows a lot of flexibility during play and also allows for quicker position change.

The cuffs unlock easily, with one quick turn of the key. The cuffs come with two keys, so keep one handy and the other as an emergency backup. I did find the keys very easy to lose, due to their size, and actually totally misplaced one of them. The keys do have a loop on the end to attach to a key chain, but I did not wish to use it. Like most traditional handcuffs, these locks use a series of teeth that click into place as the cuffs are tightened. The cuffs have to be unlocked to move in reverse, so tighten them with caution. They can be worn tightly or loosely and to locked to nearly anything. If you have small ankles, these cuffs may fit to allow more options during play.

One very important point is that these do not come with a quick release, so would be best for those comfortable wearing cuffs. I would not suggest them for beginners, or those new to BDSM.

The only possible downside to these is the fact that they are metal and therefore not flexible, and can become painful if worn too long. Some may even find that they enjoy the mild pain, but when worn too long these could easily become uncomfortable, even to the most seasoned.
