Pros:
Very hip and stylish, the straps seem pretty strong, and the ball is the perfect size.
Cons:
The straps are not very soft, needs more holes.
I'm a sucker for anything inherently girly and pink, so when I saw the Fresh Ball Gag, I knew I found a ball gag that was distinctively me. Having had been using a ball gag that been chewed on by my Dom's former sub, this would be the perfect item for my cache of BSDM loot in both style and significance.
How does one review a ball gag? Did it serve its primary purpose shut me up? Yes. Did it make me feel submissive during my play? Most definitely.
What makes this ball gag truly unique is its style. The straps are hot pink vinyl and the rubber ball is a bright contrasting blue. I did find there were seams along the mouthpiece that irritated my skin, scratching either either cheek. But that was nothing in comparison to the pain I felt inflicted upon myself while I wore the gag! I must note that it has softened up a bit in the course of use, but it is not leather, so it will not ever be supple. While the straps fit tightly around my head, I think it wouldn't hurt if the manufacturer put in a few more holes for the buckle.
While my friends might disagree, according to my dentist I have a very small mouth. That being said, the ball fit perfectly and I was able to keep it in place once the gag was buckled tight. It is soft enough that it yields mildly to my bite, but not so much that chunks of rubber came off. The things are not meant to taste good.
This is not a good ball gag for a larger head; if you are a female with a big dome or a larger male, this may not be a good fit.
I can't wait to buy the matching accessories because it never hurts to look good while you hurt!

I just noticed that the Fresh ballgag has been changed significantly since my review of it. My review displays a picture of the updated version, rather than the old version...I'm afraid that's going to be confusing and misleading for folks who might read it. Since the review is so old, I am unable to edit it. If I could edit it, I would just add a disclaimer myself and perhaps some photos of the older version for comparison...
Is there a way to indicate that the review is for an older version of that item? I feel like what I wrote is only going to confuse readers since it doesn't apply to the new style. :( -
