What can you really say about a pair of fuzzy cuffs, right? In an ideal situation, you shouldn’t have to say much. They should work smoothly, release quickly, and generally be the last thing on your mind during your rough and rowdy.

These furry pink cuffs get the job done in a basic way, great for the casual cuffer. Like most play cuffs, they have a quick release lever on the side of the locking mechanism. I had no problem pushing the release, and the clasp didn’t catch.

There’s also a switch to disable the quick release, but it also disables the key release, which I found disappointing. My domination fantasies want me left in charge, and while this feature keeps my favorite slave from prematurely pushing the release button, it doesn’t allow me to remain in control with a key. The switch is also stiff and a bit difficult to operate. I found my lube-covered hands too slippery to move the switch when we were ready.

I have slender wrists, and these cuffs still had plenty of room to clamp down further once they were tight on me. I’m not sure that they would accommodate a voluptuous wrist as well.

The fur covers on the cuffs are cute, plush, and removable. They definitely prevent chaffing since they slip around on the metal, but remain in contact with the skin. The fuzzies also keep the cold metal from chilling sensitive wrists, yet leave the inside of the wrists exposed. Good or bad, you decide.

Sadly, they were single-use fuzzies for me. While disciplining my slave after a naughty evening, he got lube on the fuzz. After paddling him soundly for his impudence, I tossed them in a lingerie bag and put them in the washer. Remember when Mom used to grab your stuffed animals and stuff them in the wash? They came out rather matted and pilled, right? Same result here. Not useless, but definitely diminished.

If your slave is better trained than mine and you can keep lube off your fur, you’ll still find that they shed a bit. Pluck them before use to avoid them getting pink fuzz where it shouldn’t be.

I would recommend this basic fuzzy cuff for light bondage. They’re visually intimidating, clink together erotically, and restrain effectively. If you’re more rambunctious, you may need a different option.
