If you’re just beginning in the world of bondage and gags or you’re looking for a gag that’s more like a big pacifier for a naughty “little” then stop looking because the Beginner ball gag by Tantus is just the thing that you are looking for.

Made of a soft silicone and designed for user comfort in mind, the beginner ball gag is perfect for those that are still new or still squeamish about using a gag in any of their play sessions. Yet it still makes a wonderful gag for those with a little bit more experience but still want something a little more comfortable than the standard hard ball gag. No matter the situation this gag is used in it is sure to muffle any screams or cries the wearer may try to express and any begging or talking will be reduced to soft whimpers making this gag great for non verbal pet play.

Designed after an infant’s pacifier and made of a soft squishy silicone, this gag is designed to allow the user to comfortably wear the gag for a longer period of time with minimal discomfort. With the bulbous head and the thinner tapered neck before the mouth guard this gag allows the teeth of the wearer to sit comfortably forward and rest or nibble on the thinner neck portion while the bulbous part restricts tongue movement while filling the mouth. The base/mouth guard of the toy also helps to muffle any sounds that the wearer may try to let escape.

Made of 100% high grade silicone, the gag and mouth guard rate a 10 on the Eden safety scale and is hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free as well as non-porous and is very well made. The rest of the gag making up the two removable adjustable Velcro straps rate a 7 on the Eden safety scale but shouldn’t be an issue as the leather straps are not really meant to be inserted.

Since the gag part is made of silicone there is a slight smell to it in the package but once washed doesn't smell or really taste like anything. Being designed for beginners with more comfort in mind, this gag is only 2.5 inches long and at the widest is about 2 inches in diameter while the part the teeth rest on is 1 inch in diameter making this an easy to insert and comfortable to wear gag.

Made of a high grade silicone, this gag held up better than I had expected it too. During use whoever was wearing it would usually bite down slightly on the thinner part of the gag and I had figured that this would probably leave at least some kind of mark, surprisingly no marks at all.

With the easy to apply and release Velcro straps the gag could be fitted with a custom fit every time very quickly and if needed could easily and quickly be removed. If you do not like the Velcro adjustment straps and want something with pop snaps like other gags, the straps are easily removed and replaced with the strap of your choice. Since the material is a stretchy silicone, you can use straps that are a little wider than the included set.

One of the only issues that I seemed to have with this gag and may just be an issue with gags in general is that after being in place for a little while the wearer will start to drool a little bit so make sure that whomever is wearing the gag is able to swallow otherwise you will have a sub/little or pet that is drooling all over the place.

The gag itself is made of silicone and can be boiled or cleaned with a 10% bleach solution to disinfect. If any kind of cleaner is used make sure to clean off the gag well with water to remove the horrible taste of most cleaners off of the gag. The leather straps must be removed when cleaning the gag and should not be cleaned with water but only a damp cloth or cleaner made for leather products.

Both comfortable and effective, this gag is great for those that are beginners or into non verbal pet play and because of the design, is great for those in the “little” scene especially when getting spanked/paddled.
