This Jackboot paddle is an excellent way to introduce some spice to your bedroom. It can easily be used for a consensual BDSM punishment or simply for the enjoyment of a good spanking. The Jackboot paddle's design is very goofy by nature, but it is undeniably a well-made and reliable addition to anyone's bag of tricks. The paddle packs a substantial heft, which can be felt through its weight and excellent balance. The wooden backing is made of pine and oak, and the boot tread is real rubber which is made obvious by a quick sniff. The handle has a wrist strap attached which could come in handy during a vigorous paddling session. The Jackboot's smooth wooden back can also serve to provide a very enjoyable spanking experience which expands the paddle's versatility.

I have thoroughly enjoyed owning the Jackboot paddle. It has by far exceeded my expectations, which were mostly to elicit guffaws of laughter from my close group of friends (where our common acknowledgement is a well-executed ass slap). I was surprised to find while experimenting with the paddle that the alternate, wooden side also provides an enjoyable and different paddling experience. I have not had the need to nor attempted to clean the Jackboot paddle, but the rubber and laminated wood seem to be reasonably waterproof. I would probably recommend a wipe-down with a damp cloth or wet wipe and would suggest against full submersion.

Since it is a paddle, the Jackboot's flatness makes it easy enough to store. Mine is in my bookshelf at the moment, sitting between a few good reads.

My paddle came to me in a clear plastic bag and had a tag attached to the handle. No instructions were included. The tag promotes the product: "Raging Stallion/Jackboot Over the Knee Paddle/Hurts So Good/10" of solid rubber always leaves its mark" and lets the user know that the paddle was assembled in the People's Republic of China. The packaging is, regrettably, not particularly discreet or useful for storage.
