Good Evening, Officer...

Metal cuffs are NOT for serious struggle/resistance play. However they ARE a great way to introduce a little kink into your playtime! The fuzz is a great way to go if you or your partner(s) are a little nervous about "that sort of thing." You know, that freaky, kinky stuff.

Pros
These cuffs are a fun, friendly and non-intimidating way to be introduced to the wild world of kink!
Cons
NOT to be used for rough resistance play! Wrists can be EASILY damaged if you buck around too much!

Ah, the proverbial "fuzzy handcuffs". My very first kinky toy! What a slippery slope we ride, eh?

I have a love/hate relationship with metal cuffs. Without the fur, they are super sanitary, and the quick release mechanism which makes them safe both for self-bondage and for folks who're always losing their keys. Also, there is hardly any scene steamier to roleplay than good cop/bad cop. Perhaps metal does it for you like it does for me.

However, much like with scarves, so many over-zealous fledgling kinksters hurt themselves or their partners with these. While the fur lining makes them cute, approachable, and a far less frightening pitch to your "vanilla" love-nugget, it also fools you into thinking that they provide some sort of padding.

Metal cuffs are NOT for serious struggle/resistance play (despite their actual, real-world purpose... maybe cops are just sadists). However they ARE a great way to introduce a little kink into your playtime! The fuzz is a great way to go if you or your partner(s) are a little nervous about "that sort of thing." You know, that freaky, kinky shite.

One should presumably know their partner and "the talk" (health risks, sordid past, etc) before engaging in any form of bondage or BDSM This is of course true with any kind of play, but BDSM (even the fat-free kind) is about achieving an altered mental state; don't ya know. Maybe it's the way the tables are turned when you or your sugar-muffin pulls out that whip, or perhaps it's just a feeling of security when you're bound up all nice and tight. It doesn't matter.

I sincerely believe that if sex is playing with matches, BDSM is a Zippo. If you don't already know where your partner will psychologically go when you snap on those cuffs, then tread with caution and take good care of each other.

Like these cuffs, I also cannot stress enough how much wrist damage happens to people with scarves during lite BDSM play. Despite the width of the fabric, after minimal wriggling, it will bunch into a thin twisted wire, cutting off hubby's circulation. Then the knot gets stuck, and it's off to the hospital. Again.

Thanks for the lecture, so many newbie D/s sekers forget that there is a reason the adage is safe, sane and consensual. It's way to easy to get you or your partner hurt and paramedics have enough funny tales to tell without the people here adding to them!

Were the cuffs sturdy enough to hold up to vigorous bucking? Did the fluff wear off or was it good enough quality that it will last? Does this particular set have the quick release function? (I'm a terrible key loser) Are they comfortable, do you think, for men as well as women?
    Nice review!
