Good for beginner restraits, but not too heavy duty.
These cuffs are pretty good for the price if you want some beginner style wrist restraints. I would recommend them, but keep in mind they are not very heavy duty.Published: April 25, 2011
Pros:
-soft
-can latch to anything
-can latch to anything
Cons:
-not super strong
-velcro
-velcro
These plushy wrist cuffs are nice for some light restraint. They are not really "plushy" but more like a thick cushioning around the wrist. The inside texture is kind of velvety. This makes them pretty comfortable even if you pull on them, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your taste. You can pull on them pretty hard without it being irritating it anyway. And they definitely won't cut you or chafe like metal cuffs might.
They are highly adjustable so they can pretty much accommodate any wrist size. The velcro is not that strong though, so use them wisely! You can pull on them pretty hard, but they are not indestructible. These cuffs also fit around my ankles which is great if you want to change things up a bit. I usually like using them behind my back, but they can be used in a variety of ways. Also, with any velcro products...be careful where you throw them when you are done (They are a pain to get off of carpeting and can damage your clothes)!
There are hooks that can pretty much latch to anything (the same type that would be used on a dog leash). So they can be hooked to each other, or so something else...like a bed post for example (Or anywhere you can imagine!). Unfortunately they can be unlatched by the person wearing them if they are sneaky, but usually that's not a problem.
Although this may seem inconsequential, the packaging is really tacky which bothers me. I find it totally not sexy. But luckily you can just throw that out and never have to see it again!
Without latching them, I think they are pretty sexy looking on their own depending on where you are going. They are pretty thick on your wrists so just look like big leather bands.

Soft yet escapable?
-
My boyfriend doesn't like bondage but he thinks cuffs are ok. Im looking for something soft on him so it doesn't leave a bad impression on him and wont try it again. But at the same time im looking for something challenging for him to get out of. He pins me down easly and i'd like to achaully feel in control for once. Any suggestings?

Wrist Cuffs vs Ankle Cuffs
-
I am looking into buying a set of cuffs for a friend and while I haven't used these personally, they look good and have good reviews on them. I was wondering if anyone has both the wrist and ankle cuffs and could tell me the difference. I know the width is different by a quarter inch, but is the length different at all? Any help would be appreciated!!!

I don't own either of these products, but I looked at the pictures and am pretty sure the ankle cuffs are longer. If you look at the fourth picture for each item (wrist and ankle cuffs) and assume that the metal clip is the same size for each item, the ankle cuffs look longer in comparison to the length of the clip.
I glanced at a couple of reviews but didn't see the length mentioned in them, so I resorted to the rough size comparison.

Thanks for the review... I think for myself these would be great. Metal cuffs tend to hurt and I'm not one for pain.
