This is a great little flogger. It's compact, it's eye-catching, and it can be used in a variety of ways. The gentle sensations of the thin, soft rubber tails trailing over skin is very pleasant and sensual, like being stroked with a feather. It can be used for light, playful flogging all over the body, making it a good toy for beginners. At the same time, experienced players shouldn't dismiss it. Smaller doesn't equal gentler when it comes to BDSM toys. Small equals faster and more sting, and the rubber whip junior doesn't disappoint. It can, if wielded more firmly, build up to a very nice solid sting.

I love the little whoosh sound it makes through the air, and once you get it going you can even use it to fan cool air onto warmed up, flogged body parts. I love the cute, playful appearance that makes this such an easy toy to underestimate. I love the softness of the tails, and the way the sensation can be changed from a hard sting to a sudden gentle cooldown and back without warning. Not to mention, it can be quite humbling to be beaten by an overgrown koosh ball!

Its small size works to its advantage in the bedroom: because it doesn't require much room to swing, you can use it for up-close play in ways that a full-sized flogger wouldn't allow. My partner can fondle me with one hand and still have plenty of room to swing those stinging little rubber tails at me with the other.

The only disadvantage to the smaller size is that the handle is also scaled smaller. I have small hands and the length of the grip fits me perfectly, but those with larger hands might find it less comfortable to wield, especially for a prolonged time.

The tails are very thin and lightweight, and like its bigger cousin, it does like to tangle. Holding it vertically and shaking it out a little usually does the trick, though sometimes it's necessary to pause in play and comb your fingers lightly through it to get all the tails to fall properly again. I've never had mine form any knots that required more in-depth attention. If you have the room and the privacy, I recommend storing it vertically. I loop the strap over a hanger in my closet so that the tails hang down.
