Seriously, if you are pondering purchasing this product, do it. The amount of options it will add to your experience is almost endless, and these babies are built to last. They're great to pull out as needed without having to rig up a whole bulky assembly and are ready to go when you are!

Use

These under-the-bed restraints are pretty versatile in terms of use- once assembled under the mattress, you can restrain wrists, ankles, forearms or other parts in many different positions to accomodate the scenes you have in mind.

The restraints are suitable for lots of users, ranging from beginner to maybe advanced, though sometimes I (and other BDSM junkies) might desire a sturdier-feeling restraint, like steel cuffs or spreader bars. These restraints are comfier and not as restrictive, though you can get fairly strict with them depending on how tight or loose you make them.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

This set is pretty darn sturdy. Though it may not seem so at first, the materials used are quite durable. The neoprene/nylon mix makes for a strap that can't be ripped (at least not easily- I'm not the strongest person around but let's say I've fought against them pretty valiantly to no avail). It feels, looks and functions like the adjustable part of a backpack strap.

The cuffs themselves are nylon material lined with a short furry material that lets you struggle against the restraints without leaving marks (as handcuffs would do) or hurting. They fasten with velcro.

As far as I can tell, these restraints will fit under any kind of mattress, from a twin to a California king. I personally have used them on a twin bed and a full bed. Also, the straps are adjustable enough to work with a wide variety of body types/heights/weights.

Performance

Dude, I love these things. They are unintimidating even to BDSM novices but keep people in place just as well as something that looks more threatening or complicated. They absolutely exceeded my expectations and have lasted a long time and show no sign of wear and tear.

The variety of ways you can use these makes them a great addition to the toybox.

Care and Maintenance

I've never had to clean these, though I don't see any issue with tossing them in the washing machine and then drying them carefully in case there was a chance of shrinkage.

As for storage, it couldn't really be easier. When not in use, you can tuck the cuffs and restraints under the mattress, out of sight. If you need to remove them fully, just tug the whole assembly out from under the mattress and bundle it up.

I have these, but have not tried them out yet. Thanks for the review. What size bed are you using these on? Do you think they will fit a king size bed without any problems?

Yup, they should definitely fit your bed. They fit between the mattress and the boxspring, or just under the mattress if you don't use a boxspring. Have fun with them!

You could definitely do that- or you could just leave everything attached and tuck it under. Nothing would be visible. The cuffs are soft and will lay/fold flat so they will fit under your mattress just the same as the strap part.

    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

      We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

      What creative ways have you guys used this system?

      We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

      We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

      Beat me to it!

      For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
