Great for a costume, cheap construction

These cuffs are well worth the purchase if being used for a costume and not regular use in sexual play otherwise I would strongly suggest a set with removable padding or fur, or an alternative restraint.

Good for rough sensory play
Wont fall apart the first time you use them
Saftey latch included
Cons:

Use

These cuffs would be great to use with a costume, or temporarily for foreplay but their cheap construction means they are very rough around the edges... literally. If you are buying cuffs for simple bondage I would recommend either a padded wrist restraint or a set of cuffs with the optional fur or normal padding which is easily removable if you decide to go without.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The design and craftsmanship of this product is what most would consider substandard. The metal is cheap, and rough on the edges, it actually scratched my skin. These cuffs will hold up for a little while but I would not expect them to wear well with extensive use. I have seen almost identical cuffs in dollar stores and costume shops, there is nothing special about them in any way. If you use these cuffs for restraint with no padding and move around expect minor bruising on the wrists. The bonus is there is the usual safety release latch so you will not have to worry about losing the key.
    • Adjustable
    • Multiple ways to use
    • Will fit most people

Performance

These cuffs met my needs, they held my wrists and did not break. All metal cuffs are uncomfortable but these were even more so, and left scratches and bruising on my skin. I would definitely not recommend them if you prefer to be discreet about your sexual activities.
They might hold up during a REALLY rough play session, but I would not expect them to hold out through two.
    • Chafes
    • Easy to put on / use

Care and Maintenance

This product is easily cared for and stored, just throw em in a drawer or box or toys, hang em up etc. Cleaning could be difficult if you get anything into these there are some small places that would be difficult to clean out, otherwise just rinse off thoroughly and hang to dry.
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

Though I don't find these particular cuffs to be a high quality product, I haven't thrown them out either. They are good for rough play and a great accessory to any police/sheriff/dom costume. If you plan on purchasing cuffs I would strongly suggest a pair with removable fur or padding just in case. This extra feature won't cost you much extra and can save having to buy another pair of cuffs at a later date if you need it.

Experience

I enjoy using these for the odd rough play session but would not recommend them for those who enjoy routine bondage, they will chafe and bruise and will not likely hold up to extensive use. They are better used for the rough hard feel and discomfort than for actual bondage.
    • For rough play where discomfort is the point and not a deterrant.
Follow-up commentary
Although these are not the greatest quality, I still like having them around. I use them for rough play because of the discomfort they cause especially when tight, but would not use them for actual bondage purposes. If you are like me though and you rip the safeties out of all your cheap cuffs... KEEP THE KEYS CLOSE! I didn't do so and it resulted in some minor bruising on my partners wrists. Still a good time, but it could have been avoided.

Thank you for the review. I have a pair of these, and did buy them for a costume. We haven't played with them yet, but we have the Sports Sheets Cuffs and tethers, which are a lot more comfortable, and will last longer for play.

I do like the keys. They look really cute on a chain, and only a few people know what they really are.

Thanks for the strong recommendations on removable pads and fur and pointing out these can bruise and chafe. Metal cuffs can be tricky in that way.

I like that they are rough when I am in the mood to get hurt. In cases where I want to struggle but don't want issues with pain, I go with something a little more comfortable. I suggest a looking into more comfortable restraints as well for anybody who is just starting out.

    • I was reading reviews and they seem to be at both ends of the spectrum. I love the price and simplicity of these, but are they painful?
    • I think it's mostly going to depend on your pain tolerance. Metal cuffs have the potential to be very painful, and some people enjoy that while others prefer something that hurts less.
    • Any handcuffs will cause pain if they are squeezed to tight.
