Great for a costume, cheap construction
These cuffs are well worth the purchase if being used for a costume and not regular use in sexual play otherwise I would strongly suggest a set with removable padding or fur, or an alternative restraint.Published: October 24, 2010
Pros:
Good for rough sensory play
Wont fall apart the first time you use them
Saftey latch included

Although these are not the greatest quality, I still like having them around. I use them for rough play because of the discomfort they cause especially when tight, but would not use them for actual bondage purposes. If you are like me though and you rip the safeties out of all your cheap cuffs... KEEP THE KEYS CLOSE! I didn't do so and it resulted in some minor bruising on my partners wrists. Still a good time, but it could have been avoided.

I was reading reviews and they seem to be at both ends of the spectrum. I love the price and simplicity of these, but are they painful?

I think it's mostly going to depend on your pain tolerance. Metal cuffs have the potential to be very painful, and some people enjoy that while others prefer something that hurts less.
-
Any handcuffs will cause pain if they are squeezed to tight.

Thank you for viewing Handcuffs review page!

Great job polishing up this review. It's short and to the point!
Thank you for the review. I have a pair of these, and did buy them for a costume. We haven't played with them yet, but we have the Sports Sheets Cuffs and tethers, which are a lot more comfortable, and will last longer for play.
I do like the keys. They look really cute on a chain, and only a few people know what they really are.
Thanks for the strong recommendations on removable pads and fur and pointing out these can bruise and chafe. Metal cuffs can be tricky in that way.
Sounds owie! Great review though
I like that they are rough when I am in the mood to get hurt. In cases where I want to struggle but don't want issues with pain, I go with something a little more comfortable. I suggest a looking into more comfortable restraints as well for anybody who is just starting out.
Good review.
Thanks for the review!
