Hand cuffs review

Fun toy for some light bondage play. Easily unlocked without the key, but this is metal and as such is not soft on the wrists. Not big enough for ankles.

somewhat useful review
These are classic toys and as such are just plain fun to use. They are not large enough for (my) ankles, but fit nicely on my wrists. They are hard metal and, as such, will bite into the skin if you put much pressure onto them, but as a light restraint, they are fun. There is a sliding latch that will allow them to be released without the key, which is nice as you don't have to keep track of those tiny keys! They will latch closed without being locked with keys, and can be unlocked with just the sliding latch. This could also be done by the person being bound, which is a nice safety feature, if that is of any concern. No being stuck to the bed in a compromising position with these!

This is only one set of cuffs|Metal Hand Cuffs, so you have to either cuff both wrists together or buy a second set for cuffing around a bedpost or other such restraining structure. Because of the hard metal, however, we had to be careful what we used to attach them to - they can mar soft woods or scrape other metals.

For restraining arms above your head with one set of cuffs, you obviously must have a structure that can allow the cuffs to be looped through and attach to the 2nd wrist. Again, you need to be careful what you wrap them around so as not to damage your bed. Naturally, you can put a protective cloth around the chain to keep from marring a bed frame... or require that your bound person behave very strictly so as not to damage paint or wood! Ah, sweet torture!

All-in-all, just a basic fun toy, great to have in the toy box for when the mood strikes. Inexpensive and provides some erotic fun!

Heh, we had a pair of these when we were first married and were renting a furnished apartment.  Needless to say, we didn't get our security deposit back after what they did to the headboard of the bed!

You also need to be careful, because when pulling against metal (like handcuffs), you can occasionally cause some nerve damage, if you're pulling too tight or too hard. Just something to think about.

Metal is definitely hard on both wrists and furniture- be cautious!

Hard metal is made to bite into your wrist ;) if you want something soft buy ones that are padded, such as the fluffy or furry ones.. or even sport cuffs.

Nice start to a review. Try a different set of cuffs, like the full wrist cuff. Much easier on the wrists, and take more of a beating.
