This toy was definitely designed
This was my first
ball gag and I liked it mostly because it was breathable. The holes makes it easy to continue to breath through my mouth. Great for me because I tend to have a hard time breathing through my nose. I didn't feel winded or suffocating as I thought I might. It was a good way for me to get comfortable and at ease with the idea of a gag, with out pain or discomfort.
My second compliment on the item is the strap and buckle. I felt that the quality and strength of them were a good deal considering the price. Also, the soft interior lining of the straps makes it so the leather doesn't pull or rub against your face. Making it much more comfortable. I enjoy the strap as it is hard to buckle-unbuckle yourself, well not that hard. But it takes a few moments to unbuckle it yourself, not like an elastic band. So it gives my partner a little more control over when I wear it and when I don't, which I enjoy. While still giving me a bit of control if I need to stop.
The hard plastic of the ball was the most uncomfortable feature for me. It's hollow, so you can bite down on it and it'll give some bend, but I found that it was hard enough to make my jaw ache when biting down on it. I thought if it were solid or just softer it may cause less tension in my teeth and jaw.
Also, the rubber ball does have a funny new-rubber taste. Which hasn't faded yet for me, but I don't find it too uncomfortable too use. I suppose someone who is distracted by smell, or sensitive to taste could find it too uncomfortable to use. But I think frequent washing and usage may help deteriorate the poor smell and taste.
It feels like to me that when I bite into the flexible ball the force of the ball pushing back (to go back to it's naturals shape) is what hurts my jaw. And a solid ball, which won't compress as much, won't push that much force back towards my teeth.
I could be wrong but I bought a silicone solid ball too and it seems to be less painful for my jaw.
How would it being solid instead of hollow/with holes make it more comfortable?
