Silicone removable small ball gag - mouth gag discontinued by Spartacus - review by married with children

The spartacus silicone ball gag is a piece of art. The silicone ball is purple with swirls of black. The snaps and other metal pieces are a aged stainless/satin nickle look. The leather is soft and flexible. It is just a great item.

The straps are a combined 21 inches long. The buckle has 11 different adjustments. So this should fit just about any user pretty well. The ball gag is a small 1 1/2 inch diameter. We found that it was just about the right size for extended sessions, without getting jaw fatigue from being held too far open. We have a bigger plastic breathable ball gag, and that one can not be worn for more then 5 minutes without her jaw killing her. If you have a small mouth, or are new to these type of toys; you will appreciate the smaller ball diameter.

The ball is removable. It is held on with a leather strap, the strap has metal snaps on each side of the ball. You just unsnap the snaps and take the ball off. Making it supper easy to clean, without damaging your leather. Leather and water do not like to mix. The ball is made form silicone, so you have many different options for cleaning it. I just use warm water and some soap. But you could boil it, or run it through the dishwasher. You could even use a bleach solution. Whatever method you use, just make sure it is dry before you put it back on the leather strap.

The leather is ultra soft and flexible. It is smooth on the front side, with a slight rough/unfinished look on the back side. The back side is still soft to the touch. It did not rub our skin raw, if that is something you are worried about. I am a little worried about how long the inside will stay soft to the touch. I guess only time will tell. I have not noticed any kind of wear and tear on the metal portion of this gag. But then we have only used it a few times. And we also try to keep it dry, so there is a smaller chance of getting any rust.

The quality is pretty high on this toy. This is my first spartacus toy I believe, if not, I do not remember having one. I have no problem trying another one from their catalog of sex toys. If I do not like the first toy from a company, there is a slim chance of me buying another one and being disappointed again. I don't have that feeling with this one. I think it will hold up well and get lots of use.

Like I stated above. My wife can wear this one and not get any jaw or mouth fatigue. With our last ball gag, she could only keep it in for a few minutes before it stated to bother her. This one was in for 10 minutes or so, with no problems either time. My wife is the one that decides what toys to keep and what ones to throw away. I get to pick them out, but if they don't work in bed for her; they have to go. (which is fine by me, I buy them to pleasure her. So if they don't preform, bye bye) I have not heard anything about this one not working out for her. (as I pat my self on the back) So I must have done a good job picking this one out? I am excited about picking out some more spartacus gear.

this is the best ball gag we have used to date. I love the way it feels against your skin. The ball is small enough to not cause discomfort, and is easily removable to keep clean between uses. There has been no signs of wear and tear, at all. It still looks brand new. I am looking forward to many more years of use out of this gag. And if the day ever comes where I need to replace it, I would have no problem purchasing another one.
