I really like this paddle! For a while I have been on a search for a paddle that would leave a specific impression on skin. After a disappointing purchase on ebay which left me, sadly, mark-free, I saw the Fetish Double Slapper and decided to try it out. Please note that I am not a beginner BDSM player and that I do enjoy a degree of pain that many beginners may not. The Fetish Double Slapper will absolutely leave a heart-shaped impression on your skin. Maybe not when used lightly, but it did leave one on me.

The Fetish Double Slapper felt very solid in my hand. It's hefty and durable leather, which can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap after use. At just over a foot long it feels just about right in my hand. The split leather design gives it the unique quality of making a louder smack than a single piece of leather would, and also has a bit more sting to it that a single leather slapper would. The addition of the metal studs on the handle and extending partway onto the paddle give it, not only a sturdy, well-made feel, but provide your bottom with a little bit of healthy apprehension as to what lies ahead.

The first time I used the Fetish Double Slapper it was on someone else. She likes sensual play but not necessarily pain. This toy is capable of a variety of speeds. With her, I was able to make her feel quite satisfied by giving her a paddling at about 20% of the force I'm capable of. So, in essence, the Fetish Double Slapper can be a used as a warm-up toy. I used it in conjunction with other toys, such as suede floggers and my own evil hands! In this particular use of the Fetish Double Slapper there were no heart impressions left on her skin.

My partner and I play quite a bit more seriously on our own. When I told him I wanted to give the Fetish Double Slapper a real test drive and make sure it did, in fact, leave a heart-shaped impression, he was totally game for sitting in the driver's seat. We went through a little bit of warm-up to start off, and I stand by my statement that it's a capable warm-up toy. Light slaps, spaced in close succession woke up my flesh and nerve endings, arousing me, and making me crave more of them. With heavier play I could really feel the sting that the Fetish Double Slapper can deliver. We experimented with two sensations: a quick slap and release, and a slap and hold. The slap and release felt much stingier. I'm much more a fan of the slap and hold. When using the Fetish Double Slapper at about 75% of it's capacity we were able to get a heart impression on my skin. So pretty!

Though we couldn't maintain that level of intense play for too long, we'll definitely keep the Fetish Double Slapper in our arsenal for periodic use. The paddle held up well during use, continued to feel comfortable to wield, and the metal studs remained comfortable to grip my hand around. This paddle was a worthwhile investment and will be making bottoms moan and scream for years to come.

The Fetish Double Slapper seems to always find its way out of my toy bag at parties. Its solid construction, firm, mostly unyielding surface, and no nonsense appearance make it a win in a great variety of situations where I find myself wanting to hurt someone with an impact toy.
