This was my first crop purchase when I was just getting started in BDSM. Years later, it's still one of my favourite toys in my collection! It is an amazing product with potential for anyone from beginners to experienced BDSM-lovers.

Instead of the usual boring heads this crop has a leather heart that packs a pretty decent sting when used correctly. The body of the crop is sturdy, but flexible with contact and can be used lightly during play or more roughly for punishment. The power behind this crop really depends on its user. (Be sure to only use with someone who understands boundaries and any safe words you wish to keep in place, as with any BDSM-related toy.)

The handle of the crop is a hard red plastic, textured with bumps. On several occasions I have heard of dominants using the handle as an impromptu sex toy to be inserted vaginally or anally during submissive punishments. (Remember to always clean and sanitize any toys that are used, especially if switching from vagina to anus!) The texture not only allows for a firmer grip but adds a real surprise if used for internal stimulation.

Also, the body of the crop is sturdy enough to using as practice for caning. If you are curious about caning or even if you have never tried cropping before, this is a fair-priced toy to start with. I suggest you try something similarly cheap when exploring for the first time and always have an open mind!

The crop overall has withstood a lot of activity on my part and has proved itself well up to the task of even heavier domination. The leather remains in perfect condition, despite the number of heart-shaped bruises it leaves behind.

I would advise to keep the leather away from moisture to avoid damage and only clean it with products that are leather-friendly.

Otherwise, my only advice is to stay safe. Communication is very important with toys such as this that can have some pain involved in its use. Be sure to always play with someone safe that you trust!

Even though this is my first crop, I continue to like using this over others. I like the shape of the heart, and the impressions it can leave. This is usually a top-choice, even to this day, when it comes to my crops.
