Black rose forbidden flower mouth bit - mouth gag discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by mpfm

Doc Johnson offers this classy collection of light bondage toys. They are perfect for the couple who not only enjoys light bondage, but likes to do it with style. Hardcore bondage players probably won't be impressed but light players or beginners may enjoy this line. I have been impressed with all the other pieces but this one- not so much. I don't know if it is because I normally don't use a mouth bit/ball gag or if the design is just lacking. Whatever reason it is my least favorite part of the Black Rose Collection.

The entire toy is 57 inches long. Each end is composed of a purple silky tie that is about 23 inches long. The purple tie is a lusious silky treat. I love the way it feels in my hand. It's soft, silky, and sensuous. The sash is identical to the ties used in the other pieces. The ends are cut in a diagonal and neatly stictched. It wraps around my head and is easily tied. It stays in place very well. I have no complaints about the silky ties whatsoever.

In the middle of the whole contramption is the bit portion. It is made of thin plastic tubing that the tie has been pulled through. The tubing moves slightly back and forth about an inch or so on either side. It is permanently attached though. The signature black roses are sewn on either end of the bit. This adds a decorative touch and also keeps the bit permanently in place. The bit has a slight curve in it. Biting it with the curve towards the mouth is the most comfortable.

I didn't appreciate the mouth bit. It guess it was comfortable enough. It didn't keep me completely silent; I can talk if I need to. It doesn't have any bite marks in it, but it has only seen play a few times. I don't like the drool that inevitable happens. It's just not my thing. Others may like it better.

It is beautiful. The entire set makes bondage a thing of beauty. In my opinion the royal purple sash is what makes the collection so exquisite. It really is a luxurious bondage set. It looks great when used with pretty lingerie or naked is always good. The pieces can be mixed an matched. I just like to skip the mouth bit.
