Wrist restraints locking - cuffs by Spartacus - review by Valyn

My partner and I had tried a few different restraints and a little bondage play, but my fantasies where getting more into the bondage aspects, and our cuffs couldn't keep up! Luckily, Spartacus knows their stuff. These locking restraints looked too perfect, so I snatched them up (along with the ankle cuffs and locking collar)!

These cuffs are made out of leather, which may turn away vegan-friendly users, but the material is pretty soft, and hasn't chafed or hurt my wrists in any way. It is also Phthalates free, for those looking for that particular safety feature. Though I have yet to try cleaning these cuffs, I would think the best way would be to get a wet washcloth and scrub the cuff a little, then let it sit or hang out to dry. They do have a faint leather-like smell, which was expected, but nothing that terribly insults the senses.

There are 5 slits in the band, for wrists of different sizes, and the band also has ten little metal circles that are just for looks. What really makes these locking cuffs is that on the buckle there is a small round metal loop; the loop goes through a slit in the band, and then a lock can be placed through the loop, keeping the cuffs locked up.

The triangle ring and o-ring attached to the cuffs are a little clunky; I found that if I wore the cuffs around, I was constantly knocking them some something. However, in bed, these cuffs were great! I loved that they locked, and the thickness felt sturdy and real, not like we were just playing pretend with cheap cuffs. We used these cuffs with the Under the bed restraint system by Sportsheets, and it worked out great. I could get them on (with some difficulty) and off alone, but couldn't budge with I was suspended with these cuffs.

All in all, these cuffs were great for me and my partner, and really took our bondage play up a notch!
