The Impressions Crop looks nice in the pictures and catches almost any person’s attention because of its price, but in all honesty I suggest splurging the extra money on a better and more reliable crop. There is always a couple who is looking to spice up their sex life by adding a little light bondage play and this toy is definitely for light BDSM. The price is great, but in all honesty I think you should spend the extra money and get a better crop. The only person who I could even possibly mention this crop to, is a person of beginning peaking interest. Almost like giving a beginning driver their beat up cheap car, the beginner would be the best candidate for this crop. The pain is just not there in this crop as it is in other crops and allows the beginner to explore a bit and maybe work up to heavier BDSM toys.

The Impressions Crop is made out of black faux-leather with a small piece of red material in the flap at the end with the heard. In the pictures it looks very appealing and cute, and when you first get it, swing it around without a partner you think it is going to be a great and wild night. This is an instance where the savings really matter, not because you are saving money and spicing up your sex life, but because to pay the money for this crop would be a waste. After using The Impressions Crop I found it to be very flimsy, coming apart barely after the second use. The flap at the end started to come undone as well as the wrist strap at the other end of the toy. There is not one detail about this Faux-leather crop that is not cheaply made, but in that same sense you get what you pay for.

The flimsy nature of the Impressions Crop prevents the person from using it even slightly harder. As you swing it down and hit the skin the flap begins to fall apart from bad stitching. Does it still give a sting with the flap coming apart? Absolutely not! It gave a weak pat on the ass before that and everything afterword was like there was nothing there. It could probably be turned into a makeshift tickler but I doubt that would last at all either. This is essentially a $10 throw away toy. And you will probably get one, maybe two good uses out of it before throwing it away.

The Impressions Crop is maybe good for a little teasing, leaving your pet begging for the real pain, but aside from that the performance is just lacking. It makes the sounds of the slap and the whoosh like all the other crops, you can even feel your strength as it flies down but your pet will never, ever feel the sting you want them to feel. It is simply weak.

How long it lasts depends on how hard you use it. If you want to go beyond the light/vanilla bondage world, then this crop won’t last long at all. You might, however, afford a few more uses after the first couple if you stick with the light play. For the most part, it just does not last enough for me to be impressed with. As mentioned earlier the crop fell apart not long after I bought it and I was hoping it would last longer than that.

Overall the performance is pretty terrible. The flimsy nature of the crop just does not allow for heavier play leaving your bondage world in the vanilla. And in all honesty the Vanilla world can be a little boring for some couples including myself.

Since the crop broke so easily I was not able to notice the care and maintenance portion. However, I was able to store the item snuggly in a drawer to use at my disposal.

To pretty much summarize, this crop is cheap, weak and flimsy. The performance offered little to no sting for my partner and only gave the impression (I guess that is why it is called Impressions Crop) that it was working. My advice would be to pay the extra money for a better crop, one that will at least be more sturdy than this one.
