This toy is best used for punishment; it hurts! Seriously, depending on the wielder of this whip, it can be sensual or painful. I think this whip can be used by beginners and advanced users because of the different textures of the falls.

Having the whip run lightly against your naked skin will send shivers up your spine and spark a fire in your belly. Having the whip come down on you full force will make you shout; you may want to invest in a gag. ;)

When I opened the package my whip came in, I was instantly overcome by the wonderful aroma of leather. That made me excited to throw back the wrapping, rip off the plastic and look at this beautiful whip. The look and smell are so appealing that you have to hold it! It feels very good in my hands (although my behind feels most of it). The handle has diamond braiding that isn't just for looks. It also provides a good grip. The whip is made out of leather and suede which makes it fairly weighty. I didn't expect my hand to droop when I picked it up, but it's not too heavy either. The weight makes the falls hang nicely. The black leather is painted and I can imagine that it will wear off easily compared to the dyed suede that will not change color.

Like the title states, I was very intimidated by the look of this whip before I ordered it. Because of the name "Barbed Wire", I was scared that it would hurt too much. The weight of the whip was perfect for Master and was very easy for Him to handle. The light lashes that Master gave me were sensual and sweet with no sting and I could feel the soft suede. The hard lashes Master gave me were wide and had a sting to them because of the barbs, but were not much different than a whip without them. The whip didn't tangle for Master during our session and delivered the intended impact. It makes for a great experience and will leave marks. However, it will not cut you if used very hard, again, like any other whip without "barbs".

I hang this new whip beside all of my other whips in a dry closet. I believe it is best hung up because it will tangle due to the length and different materials used.

I was very pleased with this whip. I was scared at first but after feeling it I am certain that even beginners will like this one.
