This is mainly used for looks. As it does not have hardware on it for the harder BDSM fans. You cant add a leash to this. Which is ok for us, as we are not really into that type of play. We both feel this is more for a beginner then for the more advanced user. Don't let that discourage you from picking up this collar. It is a beautiful addition to your bedroom play outfits. But it is still basically only neck candy. It cant be used for restraint play, which is a shame.

This can be worn anywhere. Out of the bedroom, for Halloween, a play party, ect.. Just don't wear it in the pool or shower. Leather and water do not go together very well. This can be worn with many different kinds of outfits.

This is made from a mixture of high quality materials. The main body is made from leather. The leather is soft and flexible. It is very smooth and feels great when you rub your fingers over it. The back side, the side that goes against your neck is made from soft suede. The suede does not rub your neck raw, and is not uncomfortable in any way. The d-ring and spikes are made from chrome plated brass.

I cant tell what the pink harts are made from. They feel like the suede they used for the backing. But the hearts are so small I cant get a good feel with my finger. But from the looks, I would have to go with suede.

This will fit a neck size from 12 inches to 16 inches. So it should fit a wide range of neck sizes. This fits both my wife and my necks like it were fitted for each of us.

This smells like a leather belt. I love the smell of leather. And since you will not need to wash this very often, the leather smell should stick around for months.

This has a very high quality feel to it. And it is built to last for a life time. I could not find one loose thread, one bad seam, or one flaw in the leather. The craftsmanship is right where it should be. Not something I was expecting for the price we paid. But I will take it.

This works pretty well for us. It fits her neck like a glove, and at the same time will fit my neck just as well. It does not rub or chafe her skin, which is a very good thing. Nothing worse then getting chafed from your bedroom playtime toys. This worked very well as a collar. The only problem I had was with the buckle. It is slightly difficult to put on due to the slight stiffness of the new leather. As you wear it, it softens over time; making it easier to bend and thread through the d-ring buckle.

As I said above, this preformed well as a collar, a collar for fashion only. There is no other application you can use this for. If it had come with a d-ring attached in the middle, so you could attach a leash or use it for restraint; then it would be more useful in your bedroom play.

There are a few issues to talk about here. First one is that this is leather and metal mix. So you don't want to leave it laying around wet, and you don't want to soak it in water. Leather is a difficult item to clean, and you cant sterilize it. This should not be a problem, since it should not get any bodily fluids on it; with the exception of sweat. My wife and I share bodily fluids all the time, so this is not a concern for either of us. We have not needed to clean this yet. And it has been in use for at least a few months.

If you do need to clean this. Use caution to not leave it laying around damp, as it will cause the metal to show signs of wear. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and pat it dry before you put it away for the night.

For storage, you can do about anything. We just toss our collar in the drawer or in the closet. We have never had a problem with storing it like this. You could also hang it up by the buckle, if you have hooks for your collars and cuffs.

This just comes in a plastic sleeve type bag. Nothing else. It is simple and recyclable. The collar also has a small tag attached to it. There is not much information included on the tag. They let you know what material it is made from and the neck size range it will fit.

It would be nice if this came with a ring on the collar, either on the back or on the front. It would help those who are into the harder BDSM, as you could add a leash or use the ring to hold her/his neck in a certain position. I feel that is the only thing missing from this collar.
