Pleasure tape - bondage toy by Pipedream - review by ~LaUr3n~

Pleasure tape from Pipedream is a really unique product! It is a reusable PVC tape that only sticks to itself. It can be used for binding, tying up, blindfolds, or even to create a tape costume of sorts. If you have a vinyl or latex fetish, you probably will love this too. It is easy to use and can either be used again or simply thrown out. There is plenty on the roll so you won't have to replace it any time soon either. At less then $10, everyone should have this!

The tape is made of PVC which is about as thick as standard printing paper. It is super flexible and can fold in on itself to be manipulated however you want. It even stretches quite a bit. The tape is also really resilient it is really hard to rip. It instead has to be cut or by the use of teeth, can be torn. The PVC does have a noticeable plastic and rubber smell to it but it isn't overwhelming. The surface is very slick and although not sticky when you touch it or when it touches the skin, it sticks to itself. It won't stick to body hair either! It can be undone as well. If you mess up while binding your partner it will also un-stick from itself.

PVC is porous and since the tape might be used around bodily juices it is a smart idea to use fresh tape, if you are changing partners. Condoms obviously can't be used on this for obvious reasons.

The roll is the size of a standard duct tape roll and has approximately 66 feet of tape on it. We only used about 8 feet the first time we used it to tie my partners hands each separately to a chair. So even if you get much more elaborate, it will last you a few times at LEAST.

My partner and I had so much fun with this! You can use it in multiple ways. For one it can simply be wrapped around arms and legs to bind them together. You need to wrap it around about three times in order for it to stick enough to hold for a tougher escape. You can also braid or twist the the tape to make strong cords to tie up your partner. These are harder to undo if you want to reuse the tape.

I have a latex fetish and while I don't own any latex clothing, this let me play that out a little. It looks awesome wrapped around the body. For the first few layers you can semi-see through it. It was also hot to have my partner cut me out of it. It was awesome that it didn't pull at the skin or hair and could just be un-wrapped to use again!

The package says that it can be used to gag someone. I do not recommend this. Unless you have scissors, it is not easily taken off in a timely fashion, so if something were to go wrong and you needed to take it off, it might not be safe.

There is not care of maintenance really. There is no cleanup either. It really is just easier to use new tape every time though. It's a bit of a pain to have to try to put it back on the roll, but I supposed you could just leave it off the roll for next time.

The package is a bit large for what this is. A plastic piece with a molded out part to fit the tape goes over a cardboard piece with a picture of a girl in the tape. The back has some info and instructions, but I threw all of this out since it isn't needed. The tape is also much more discreet without the package telling what it is.

I am giving this tape 5 stars. The design is so simple and ingenious that it really has no flaws in my opinion. I wish it was easier to tear without having to use my teeth or scissors, but then again that might make it less effective. Every couple who likes light-heavy bondage should try it!
