Fantasy bondage tape - restraints discontinued by Pipedream - review by Mirachaya

Bondage tape is a less common alternative to rope or silk ties. I would recommend it for intermediate to advanced users as in order for it to work properly, the entire forearms or lower legs will be wrapped together, providing a nice sensation of confinement and powerlessness. You can wiggle your way out of it with
some effort, however, and it is best used on the bed with the arms above the head or behind the back.

This product should be used with a partner with scissors handy in case of emergency. Make sure to keep a close eye on extremities to ensure circulation is not cut off.

This product is designed to cling to itself like saran wrap or plumber's tape. It will not provide a sufficient restraint if just wrapped around the wrists; however, the roll contains approximately 22 yards, so you will have plenty to work with. If unwrapped afterwards carefully and stretched out, this PVC tape can be saved for a later date.

PVC is water-resistant and doesn't require much maintenance if you decide to keep it. Just wipe it down with warm soap and water and let it dry. However, as it is water-resistant, you will notice sweat building underneath the wrappings during even a moderate play session.

We often disposed of strips of ours after a play session. Once the sweat buildup became too uncomfortable, we just cut it off and discarded it. The roll lasted for quite a long time regardless.

The product did a good job of holding my arms behind my back and my legs together, mimicking binders efficiently and at a low cost. The sensation of being wrapped was rather exciting and quite different from the handcuffs, wrist cuffs and hogtie harnesses I'd previously experienced.

I was able to wiggle and squirm my way out the first time when wrapped around the wrist to mid-forearm, but once wrapped to the elbow behind my back I was essentially immobile and at my partner's mercy. We tied both my arms together down the length of my back, crossing my back so each wrist touched the opposite elbow.
We also attempted to make a corset out of it, however that was too near the end of our roll and we ended up running out. It seems like that could theoretically work in the future and we will be trying again. If you attempt something similar, make sure the receiving partner can breathe comfortably and do not leave it on long.

This product is easy to care for, just wipe it down with a damp, soapy cloth and fold it up for re-use. It doesn't seem to attract too much lint and doesn't really have any other storage needs.

The packaging was a cardboard backed blister advertising it as bondage tape. It didn't come with instructions for any ideas on how to use it. It was not discreet at all. It is recyclable though.
