Jaguar cuffs review
Overall, these are great cuffs! They are very comfortable and durable, and sexy at the same time; they could even be worn in public. They are definitely my new favorite sex accessory! I would highly recommend them to anyone.Published: February 18, 2008

The Jaguar Cuffs made by Aslan Leather may prove to be one of my favorite sex accessories yet! For years I have wanted a nice pair of leather cuffs, but have hesitated to shell out the money for them. Now I realize that they are definitely worth every penny!
When my cuffs arrived I was so excited; I took them out of the package and tried them on immediately. At first, I was very disappointed because it seemed like they were far too big for my small wrists. So I put them on my ankles instead where they fit perfectly and looked nice and sexy. However, after a little more playing around with them, I figured out how to overlap the straps so that I could make them small enough for my wrists. My wrists measure 6 inches around, and I can wear the cuffs on the second tightest notch, so someone with extremely small wrists need not worry; these cuffs can fit you too! For me, they fit my ankles too, so essentially, I have two toys in one! Bonus!
Upon inspection, the cuffs seem to be solidly built with nice stitching and two layers of soft leather (one black thin layer and one colored wider layer; mine is red). The metal buckle features a small loop through which you could put a lock . Also, there is one ‘D’ loop on each cuff which allows for the cuffs to be easily fastened to anything with the use of some rope or additional clips. Another thing I found interesting about these cuffs is that they are made in Canada. Since I am a Canadian, I always find it important to support local companies, so this was a big plus for me. Finally, they included a nice little write up on how to care for your product which I found very useful since this is my first real leather toy.
I have used the cuffs now on a few different occasions on myself, and on my husband once. I have found them to be very comfortable. I was a little concerned about the area of the cuff which needs to overlap in order for them to be small enough on me. I thought it might dig in a little bit, but it doesn’t at all! I found that using them with a double sided leash style clip worked great. One side of the clip could be fastened to the cuff, and the other to the headboard. This allowed for a great sub experience as I found my arms confined above my head allowing my partner free access to do what he wished to me. These cuffs are also so sexy that I could see myself wearing them out in public as well. Overall, I think I will get a lot of use out of these; I love them!

I am still in love with these cuffs! I even went out and bought the matching collar! They've held up quite well- no stretching or color fading problems at all. Before I noted the overlapping as a con... but now I wouldn't at all. It doesn't cause them to dig in at all, and I found out from some friends who make cuffs that they are actually supposed to overlap! So I guess they fit me just right then! I have found that after I wear them out for a night and get them a little sweaty they get coated on the inside in a white film. But this is easily cleaned off with a slightly damp cloth. I've also used a leather conditioner on them after I wear them to keep them looking nice. And I took the advice of the 'care tags' and painted the metal parts with a clear nail polish to prevent them from tarnishing. So far so good- no signs of wear! I'm pretty sure these cuffs will last me a long time!

I would go with red and black, but I don't think you'll get the white dirty, so go with what you think is best.

Those sound great and exactly what I am looking for. You said that you have small wrists so that was a bit of a problem. My wife has small wrists as well but would like to find cuffs that can be worn as an accessory. You stated that they could be worn as an accessory. Have you done so yet? How did you find them? Were they really bulky or awkward?
I have worn them out once so far. It was just at a house party. They were comfortable, but I did feel like they were a little bulky and stood out. But that was probably just me being self conscious thinking that everyone was looking at me in my bondage gear.
I think they'll fit your wife's small wrists just fine. As I said, my wrists are 6 inches (which is pretty small!) and I wasn't using the tightest notch so there is still room to go tighter.
I would highly recommend you buy these if they're the type of thing you're looking for. I've been very happy with them.
I too have small wrists but I too overlap the straps. They feel and look great no discomforet or marks.
I have worn them out, look like kinky wrist bands to most.

Yeah overlapping them really isn't that big of a deal. They're still really comfortable. And I love that they can double as ankle cuffs too! Two toys in one can't be beat! Thanks for reading my review Jennifer.
I have actually used these these cuffs as a collar. I was going to a party and needed a collar. I decided to strap these two cuffs together and put it around my neck. It was GREAT! I got a LOT of comments about them. I informed them that they were actually cuffs. I would highly recommend these.
Interesting- why are they supposed to overlap?

You said they get coated in a white film when they get sweaty. Why do you think that is?
Probably just salt from the sweat. It cleans off fine though. The leather is still nice and soft.
I too love these cuffs. They are so comfortable,secure and they fit my small wrists. They are also great for my ankles.
Mine too get sweaty but are easily cleaned and I so love the smell of good leather.
