These gorgeous leather cuffs are a great cuff for people of all experience levels. They're easy to get on and off, and their soft interior makes them comfortable to wear for lengthy periods of time. They're beautiful, and cute without being too "girly" for use by men or on men. However, I'm not sure they'd fit very large men (or very large women) well, as they adjust down to the 5 inch width of my tiny wrist (they also fit my ankle beautifully) and are just generally not very big cuffs. They're sturdy cuffs, and provided a submissive cannot reach them to unbuckle them, very difficult to escape, however they're less ideal for restraining *just* the legs without restraining the arms as these are not locking cuffs.

They're also unpadded, and not suitable for suspension, however they are very sturdy as they have held up to my kicking and as an ex-stripper and ballerina, I have some leg muscles on me.

Their beautiful design and the cute little hearts also make them suitable for wearing as cute little punk rock accessories.

They're excellent cuffs for pretty much any couple interested in bondage, either experimentally, or as long term hardcore players.

The design is charming, comfortable, and very simple. Each cuff is a suede lined leather band, with a pair of thinner leather bands attached on top with heavy well made studs, one of the thinner bands ends in a buckle, the other has holes, and lifts off of the thicker band, allowing the cuff to be adjusted to the appropriate size, a nice heavy d-ring holding a similarly heavy duty O-ring sits between the two layers of leather, held in place by four studs on one side, and two on the other. This works very well for ankle cuffs, but can prove a bit of a challenge when used as wrist cuffs if the submissive has hands not much wider than their wrist, because getting them very tight takes a bit of effort. These are middle weight cuffs, that may cause sweating depending on the temperature of the environment and the intensity of play.

Also, I feel I should mention I cannot find any information on what metal has been used in the hardware so it might be best to look into that if you have allergies to metals. The stitching is impecable, done in a nice thick thread and well reenforced for areas that will take particular strain, all in all these are very well made.

They're certainly not discreet looking, as it's obvious what they are, however depending on your sense of style (and in most cases how flamboyant/female you are) they're easy to play off as fashionable accessories.

Their sizing is very adjustable, and very comfortable, and the craftsmanship is truly beautiful. However considering the suede interior it might be best to watch out for sweating to much while wearing these beauties

I also find their design very spot on, they're cute but not "cutesy-wootsy with sugar on top", just edgey enough to look kinky without scaring off newbies or vanillas, and pretty while remaining appropriate for all gender expressions.

Now, these are a sturdy little pair of cuffs, I can shake the bed all I want, kick, and wriggle, and whatever while wearing them and I know I am sure as hell not getting out, I don't feel them weakening, the hardware bending or anything like that, and inspecting them after use they do seem just like new. I wouldn't recommend them for suspension play, as they're not designed for it, and the way they're designed when pulled "up" they tend to shift a little awkwardly, not in a way that's uncomfortable, or facilitates escape, but it looks less aesthetically pleasing, and I believe that style of tension would put strain on the leather where it's not designed to bear it.

As well, these do have a suede-like interior, which means it "hardens up" if it gets wet, so if you're sweating a lot during play take care to dry them as thoroughly as possible with a towel, and to use appropriate leather care products on the interior.

These are very comfortable cuffs, the edges are finishes, and the leather is supple, soft and not going to chafe when worn for extended play. As well, these cuffs distribute pressure very evenly over the ankle, meaning you won't end up with one spot aching from bearing the pressure of the entire cuff.

You should wipe these down with a damp towel on the exterior, and a dry one on the interior after play, and occasionally use a leather conditioner. Of course you can't sterilize leather, but the ankles don't usually tend to end up covered in blood or bodily fluids. They're also best kept in a cool not too humid place (just like all leather0 to help keep them in good condition.

These cuffs have very little in the way of packaging, they come in a little plastic shell type thing, designed to be hung from a store rack, it's very easy to open, and basically a disposable container.
