The Bad Kitty Soft Set is the perfect light BDSM kit for those just entering the world of BDSM or for those who like to play a little nicer than the hard core players. The toy is soft, first and foremost, so you don't have to worry about irritation from stiff parts. Even the whip is on the softer side, which means that you don't have to worry about stinging your partner too hard (unless you really put a lot of force in it). This product would actually be great for couples with sensitive skin!

The material is felt, and really is just made out of cut pieces of felt. It's cute and straight forward in design. Now, felt is extremely strong. In fact, it has been shown that a sharks tooth cannot penetrate felt. So, this product is made well and should stand the test of time.

The felt is pretty soft to the touch yet a bit stiff due to thickness. It is not scratchy at all and feels great against the skin.

The kit has a new cloth smell. You know it, it's how your clothes smell fresh from the store.

Let's get down to sizing. The eye mask is 7 inches long with a band length of 6-12 inches, the latter being fully stretched. The band is constructed of black elastic which is soft and comfortable.

The wrist cuffs can be fitted to 3 to 3 1/2 inches in girth via black Velcro.Each wrist cuff is 11 inches long and three inches wide. A removable polyester braided rope is attached that measures 18 inches long. You can take this off and attach another type of rope if you so desire.

The whip is also felt and consists of 16 strands. The strands can be stretched and do not go back to their original shape so be careful! A leather hand grip binds the whip together and makes control pretty easy, but the whip is always a little lax. The entire whip measures 18 inches with 14 of those inches being the whip and the 4 remaining consisting of the handle.

The blindfold is a little on the weak side when it comes to keeping the light out and keeping one from seeing. No matter how it is adjusted, there is always a little hole by the nose where the wearer can see out. If you're using this for fun instead of complete sensory deprivation than it should not be a problem.

The arm restraints feel wonderful and can be tied to something like a bed post or to each other. Furthermore, they can be adjusted so that the wearer has a lot of maneuverability or a little. If you have a lot of flexibility in your hands, you can get out of these.

Like I said before, the whip does not provide sting. It is more for the provocative notion of inflicting pain than actually inflicting it. In other words, this kit is merely for fun and laughs.

I would not suggest getting this product wet. Felt can hold water like a sponge, making it difficult to dry, and it can dry stiffer than it originally was. To clean, simply wipe everything down with a damp cloth. Store it anywhere. The whip comes with a hanging loop for display.

The kit comes in a black and pink cardboard box with a naked woman demonstrating the kits proper use on the front and back. Instructions are provided which include safety, care, and use. The box can be used for both storage and gifting.

I am into soft core BDSM but this kit is a little too soft for me. I found that I had to shut my eyes with the blindfold otherwise I could peer out the little hole by the side of my nose. I slipped out of the cuffs (mind you though I can slip out of most cuffs), and the whip did not provide any sting which I like. My boyfriend liked it, however because he always worries about hurting me and with this kit, he couldn't.
