Imp heart paddle by Leatherbeaten - review by Beautiful Dreamer

This is a relatively basic paddle style flogger that has a split wear the two pieces of leather come together. It may be my technique, but I can't get them to separate mid-swing. Don't let the cute design fool you though - flexible leather combined with a good flip of the wrist and your partner's ass will be stinging. Strike them with the heart side to leave an impression.

Because the design is so easy to use, both beginners and more experienced users alike will be able to use this with positive results. Beginners - simply experiment with light strokes to arouse your curiosity and senses.

The handle on this is easy to hold, yet because of the simple leather it's also easy to clean. The stitching is high quality and the two pieces of leather are well attached to one another assuring a long lifetime if proper care is taken for this product. It has that distinct leather smell, yet it is more subdued than some of my other pieces because of the coating that is present on the leather. The only part of this toy I have concerns about is the heart punch out, but as long as you take care to never pull on the material (and certainly don't hang it up by the heart- use the small cord on the handle) this should not be a problem.

This toy is easy to use as the design is straight forward. I'm definitely on the beginner side of things and I appreciated not only the ease of use, but the fact I could deliver both gentle and heavy blows with this paddle. I loved the fact that with a well placed strike, I could leave a heart on my partner's ass.

On the receiving end, the leather feels divine and because the paddle is wider than say a whip, the stinging is more diffuse and easier for me to handle as a newbie.

Leather is easy to care for. I'd recommend investing in both a good leather cleaner and conditioner. Also, because leather cannot be entirely sanitized, if this would come into contact with body fluids it should be restricted to use for that person only, unless the partners are fluid bonded.
