Weights with clip adjustable - nipple clamps discontinued by Spartacus - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

So, this thing is chilling in our 'clamp' category with all of the nipple clamps. Yes, it can be used as a nipple clamp, but you only get one and it's a bit awkward for that. Weighted nipples with this really aren't sexy at all and do boobs no justice. It's adjustable if you want to use it for that, but it's not the most glamorous or functional clamp out there . . . and you need to buy another if you want a pair.

Why was I so nuts over this thing? For my clover clamps, of course! Those clamps are the ones that get tighter when you pull on them. This weight can be attached to the chain. The magnets allow you to add a little more weight really easily so you can crank it from 11 to 100. Seriously, this thing makes the most intense clamps out there even more intense. It can also be used with other styles of non-slip clamps (that have the rubber on the top of them).

These weights can also be used on testicles, labia, and the clitoris. They're adjustable, so anything you can fit them on can be weighted! You can also use them on ball stretchers. The possibilities are endless. Don't like them? Use them as fridge magnets! The clip can hold things for you!

Construction/Design

This clamp and the weights are made of the typical awesome quality that most Spartacus products are made of. It's solid, seems like it will last a long time, and is very functional. The metal is nice and shiny. The screw is easily turned for easy adjusting. The rubber grips grip very nicely. The clamp has a pretty nice bite but not too much of one when used without being adjusted (and is a lot like a novice clamp). The clamp opens to about 1/2" and can be adjusted until it's fully open.

The top magnet has a disc on it where the clamp is screwed in. You can remove all of the magnets if you wish. There are six magnets total which each weigh 1oz. (one being the one with the disc on top of it). With that, you have 6oz., plus about a 1/2 to 3/4oz for the clamp itself, so you're looking at a weight of a little under 7oz. This may not seem like much, but it is a whole freaking lot when used in conjunction with other equipment.

Performance

Wow! These things are a real winner when used with clover clamps! I'm a tough little cookie when it comes to my clamps, but even one weight on these felt like a whole lot more. It's nice to be able to gradually increase the weight of them by attaching another magnet. The magnet will jump to the other from about an inch away and it's not going anywhere unless you pull it off. It's super sturdy. The stack of magnets can support the weight of several other small magnetic objects, as well. The magnets themselves also stick to d-rings and chains, so you can go without the clamp if you wish. These work exactly how I needed and expected them to.

For plain old nipple clamps, they really aren't the most ideal thing out there. They clamp and stay on, but the weight doesn't seem to really do very much. They do make a very interesting experience when clamped elsewhere, though.

As for the design, this is something you can leave out on the counter when company comes over. It's really nothing to raise an eyebrow at. It's also small and easily carried with you when travelling.

Care

There's really not much care for these. If they get anything on them, wipe it off. If it won't come off, use a damp cloth. Don't let them get incredibly wet or stay that way. It's not stated what material it's made of other than metal so it might rust.

Pro Tips

Bind your lover (or have them bind you). Snap on some lovely clover clamps, and then go slowly with one magnet and then another. The anticipation is the best part of it. You can also pick up the magnets with those already attached to the clamp. Line them up, clamp yourself up, put the clamp on your chain (or wheverever else you desire) and then slowly pick up the magnets one by one. If you're looking for an even more intense experience, do it even faster! There are so many things you can do with these.

This little clamp is still alive and kicking. I've actually used it for craft purposes more than BDSM. It's something kinda useful to have but it doesn't get much real use. I suppose I could use it as a fridge magnet?
