Lick It, Lick It Good...

The Viper Tongue is a unique slapper, a bit stingy but well worth the price. Its light weight makes it safe for use all over the body, not just the classic targets. Overall I believe it is a fun toy.

extremely useful review
The Viper Tongue is a lovely little devil. It packs quite a wallop for how light weight it is and as a result can be used safely just about anywhere on a person's body. The design of the Viper Tongue of course gives it its signature name, two leather straps cut down the middle in a V making them thin at the tips and thicker at the base. This also makes them very light at the tips, adding more sting and making them a bit floppy when using. I found they had a tendency to dance about wildly in between strokes or when I was rapidly applying it to my girl. However it is hard to do any serious harm with it as the straps are too light to cause deep tissue damage. Even really cutting loose is unlikely to cause anything more than a serious sting that will certainly get someone's attention and maybe result in some light bruising. However, I would always recommend avoiding tender or sensitive areas like the neck, face, and genitals.

It's size and weight make it great for use in nearly any situation; whether the target is lying down, bent over, standing up, hanging from the ceiling, or at the end of a pony cart, the Viper Tongue works great. The very first time I used it on my girl, I did it on her front while she was laying down. I slapped her breasts, ribs, and stomach and she loved it. The second time I used it on her back side, striking her ass, thighs, and even calves which yielded mixed results. There was a bit more sting to it and she felt that it was wrapping too much on one side of her ass or the other. The red stripe marks it left on her skin were delectable.

Like any whip or strap, the body of the implement is flexible and can wrap to cause much more of a stingy impact. It can take a little practice to get used to wielding it accurately, ensuring that the tails fall where you intend them. Practicing on a pillow or couch cushion first will give you an idea of how to control this toy before you unleash it upon the intended victim. The tips are particularly stingy while the middle area provides more of a thud.

Because it is patent leather it has a soft suede side and is polished smooth on the other. The soft side has more of a muted sting while the polished side packs a hell of a sting. Alternating between the two yielded interesting results as I strapped the girl. Not being a fan of stinginess, she preferred the softer side to the polished smooth one. That, of course, didn't stop me from using them both on her, but it was what she preferred. This gives the Viper Tongue more versatility in its application, allowing the wielder to choose the type of strike with each swing.

It is made from one solid piece of 1/8" thick patent leather, doubled over to make a sturdy 1/4" thick, 1 & 1/4" wide, 5" long handle. It has two falls, each 17" long and the whole thing is 1 & 3/4" wide at its widest point. The over all length is 22" and packs easily in a drawer or suitcase, bag, or what have you, for convenient travel. There is a metal ring on the very end for hanging off a belt or wall hook so it won't go unnoticed if you try to pass it through metal detectors.

Care is relatively straight forward. Store in a dry place and avoid folding it over as it will crease the leather falls and affect performance. Cleaning should be done, if necessary, with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid soaking the leather as this will ruin it.
Experience
The girl's perspective:

Despite the stiffness and weight of the leather, the viper tongue has a lot of sting. While i generally prefer toys that have a bit more repercussion and thud to them, the viper tongue isn't one I expect to dismiss out of hand. Upon first use, Master applied it lightly to my front half, where it produced a myriad of tingly, pleasant sensations. I believe the toy has great potential to be one of my favorites. However, the second application (to my backside) was not quite so pleasant, as it produced deep stinging sensations. The third application again, was a mix between the first usages; some strikes were exactly my "flavor" - more thud than sting - while others were quite stingy. Though I find the sting a little less than pleasant on certain areas, there are others where it delights and tingles. Overall, while this toy can be quite intense, it is worth trying, as I expect we will continue to experiment with it, despite the mixed results.
