Passion cuffs - wrist and ankle cuffs discontinued by Sportsheets - review by underHim

I will be honest, I got these because they were free with a Sportsheets purchase. Good deal and I have a lot of things I like from Sportsheets, (HUGE fan of their under the bed restraint system). Anyways, since they were free I was not expecting much, but the price was right. Velcro is a great restraint material when you might be interrupted partway through playing, (if you have kids), and you need to be let out in a hurry. I am personally preferential to steel, but I cannot escape from velcro either, so it does the job. I have 6 inch wrists and 8 1/2 inch ankles so I fit everything very well. They will fit wrists under 11 inches or so, but with the restraint material being velcro, the larger your wrist the less of the velcro material that will come into contact with itself and therefore the weaker the bondage will be.

They are about 2 inches wide and are made of a very soft velvet like material. They are a nice bright red and match absolutely beautifully with some nice red or black lingerie. One thing I did not realize before I ordered them is that they are sewn together, and no, you cannot pull the stitches to separate them. This eliminates being able to tie the hands or feet apart.

Try not to get anything like lube or body material onto the cuffs. Yes, you can wipe it off, but they will never be quite the same. They will appear matted and stained. They can get a little itchy after prolonged wear, once they get sweaty the fur type coating can be uncomfortable and itchy. These are not really good for heavy bondage sessions, mostly because they are not very versatile, but they will keep your hands or ankles together.

I still like these, but the seam in the middle is starting to weaken, the cuffs appear to be separating a little bit, not enough to seriously cause any issues yet, but it does make me think that they will not be too long lasting. I still like them and for the price, they were worth it and have been used enough, but they are not going to last as long as some of my others.
