Love My Bettie!

All in all, I will never regret this purchase, but I may be a bit biased because of my Bettie love/obsession. If you're not a Bettie fan and just in the market for a decent beginner paddle, maybe shop around for one that isn't quite as expensive (Eden has a really great one).

Use

Well, I originally bought this toy because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bettie Page, and I also seriously love spanking. Technically, I've bought all the Bettie Page toys. Who doesn't love a little spanking every now and then? Once I used this paddle or have had it used on me, I fell in love with it even more. My partner had recently expressed a desire to try some light spanking in the bedroom, so this paddle was perfect for her! This paddle inspired her to try some heavier alternatives after it delivered just the right amount of sting.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

I love the design/look of this paddle. I'm normally not a huge fan of non-round paddles (call me old fashioned) but I'm quite pleased with this one. The handle is decently lengthed (about 5-ish inches) with a super nifty wrist strap with Bettie's autograph on it. Also, there's the lovely black and white picture of the wonderful Bettie Page on the paddle! (Did I mention I truly love Bettie?) The paddle does not have any noticeable smell. Well, other than that fake leather smell, but it faded over time.

Performance

This paddle was initially bought to use on my partner, who at the time was just testing the waters of the BDSM world. It has performed very well, so I can honestly say that I am quite pleased with this paddle. I wouldn't recommend it to a more pain hungry person but for just starting out — it's lovely!

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this toy is a cake walk! Personally, I just use it, dust it down, and hang it back on its hook.

Packaging

The packaging was perfectly lovely. It might have been the nicest package I've ever seen, so no complaints from me! Plus, there's the key ring and picture card! (Yay for more Bettie toys!)
