I found the Japanese Silk love rope cuffs and blindfold to be pleasure inducing. The colors are pleasing to the eyes and the ropes are gentle enough even when there is force being used. My fiancé and I have been using the product since we received it, to see what ups and downs the product has, and I think that we have found them.

A good thing about the ropes is once again that they is very smooth and soft.  Even when there is force being used or if you're being contorted in such a way that involves twisting of the hands, wrist, or ankles, you're still going to be comfortable. The ropes are also good for having your wrists confined to a pole, being entangled in yourself, or just having your wrists restricted to the front or back of you.

As for the blindfold, it too was comfortable and appealing. It's made of a soft material for where your eyes are being covered, and it's appealing in the front because of the pink shiny pleather look. The elastic band also isn't too tight around your head when you're wearing it either. All together it wasn't too bad.

As for the cons of the ropes, it is a little restricted on what you can use it with. For my fiancé and I, we like to use any type of confinement that has a little play in it. The ropes are a little restricted with that. When he used it on me, he had my wrists tied to one of the little bars on our bed. My hands had no play for when I tried to twist and struggle. For this type of use, we found it a little restricted because of how short the ropes were. Also, he likes to use the bondage ropes on me that spread all my limbs apart so he can do what he likes with me, with this, you can't do that. It's a short rope where both of your wrists or ankles go. Preferably your wrists, because it's difficult to have vaginal sex when you're restricted on how far your legs can be spread with the short length of the rope. The only up for using it on your ankles is if you're having anal sex or vaginal sex doggy style, and then it seems to work well with the positions.

As for the blindfold, the only disadvantage I found was that you could see underneath it a little bit. It isn't tight enough to make it so your eyes can't peak. When my fiancé was using sex toys on me, we had to switch to a different blindfold because I could see everything he was grabbing when he used it on me due to the space on the blindfold between your nose and the bottom of your eyes. Otherwise, it primarily did what its suppose to do.

All together, I would say for the price of the Japanese Silk love ropes and blindfold, this would be a good BDSM kit for beginners. It covers the basics for bondage and it primarily gets the job it's supposed to do, done.
