This chain set is a very sturdy light weight aluminum chain used for light bondage play. It is a lovely pink color which stands out against the skin beautifully and is long enough to do some cute designed or to successfully restrain someone anyway you'd like. There is also a small, lightweight, heart shaped lock that can keep you or your partner trapped in your chains of love. This chain is definitely NOT suitable for suspension, its sturdy enough for hold up during average play sessions but would not hold any real weight.

This set would be great for beginners as it’s not at all intimidating, and the lock would be easy enough to break if it was totally necessary, although it would be a shame as it is a very cute little lock. This can work for more experienced people, like myself who loves rope, and are curious about trying chain. This set probably won’t last long, we'll be upgrading to a sturdier chain, but it is a great starting place.

It is just a simple, aluminum link chain which the box says is 6M in length, this converts to just under 20' total length. The chain is colored a very pretty shade of pearly pink, which of course my Mister cringed at but I think it is adorable, and it is non-toxic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. The links are each about a 1/4" wide and 1/2" long and all appear to be welded shut making them a little stronger and less likely to separate.

The included lock is also made of a nice sturdy silver aluminum, as are the 2 small, included keys. The body of the lock is in the shape of a heart and in 1" X 1" at the widest points. The locking shaft is about 1/2" tall and the keys are 1" long as well.

This is suitable for doing simple harnesses and bondage play. Even as a fairly big girl I was able to do a few body harnesses with this, so it is long enough for actual use, a smaller person would easily be able to do even the harness shown on the front of the box.

I was pleasantly surprised by this bondage chain when it arrived. I hadn't expected it to have much length to it due to lack of information on the product page, but it is nearly 20' which is plenty to restrain your partner with or there is enough for a few basic harnesses. It is durable enough for light play, but it might not survive rougher play; basically it’s pretty and will serve its purpose, but it won’t work for suspension.

All in all this is a fun and well made piece of BDSM bondage equipment. It is good for beginners to intermediate bondage fanatics and for artistic bondage. The only complaint I have with it is the lock doesn’t unlock easily, you have to work the key around a bit which can make you very nervous when locked into the chains! Granted it wouldn’t take much to cut thru the chain or lock to escape, but would rather not get to that point if I can help it. You may want to get a more well made lock for this, or some other form of clasp to fasten the ends of the chain.
