Well made, nice price and impressive to look at, this crop is everything that I expected it to be. Its performance was just what I had hoped for. It has become a toy box staple.

The entire length of this lightweight crop is almost 27 inches, almost 8 of those inches being the corded handle. Fear the hitting end, my friends, the 3 inch long and almost 1.5 inch wide leather tip will bring the *wack*. The crop has no odor and it has held up very well with very different levels of play.

Performance

This guy never fails to produce a good little sting after a teasing warm-up. My partner has also used the metal end on the handle to run over my body for some sensory play and the length of the crop to correct my body positions (lift my chin, lower my bottom, etc.). I've had some light marks after intense play sessions when this guy was involved.

Care and Maintenance

I store this guy in a case with my other hitty things, but as long as he's stored straight he should be fine. Clean the leather with some mild soap on a damp cloth and you're good to go.

Good review! But if there are no cons, why did it only receive a 4 out of 5 for you? I see that you said it has an intensity rating of 3 out of 5, in your opinion. If this is the reason that it received a 4 instead of a 5, would this not be a con?

@Nazaress - I didn't list the intensity as a con, as I feel that its intensity is very versatile depending on the experience of the person using it. It got a 4 out of 5 from me because at that time, I wasn't sure how well it was going to hold up from hardcore usage.I could see it was well made, but different play for different folks, eh? Maybe I should have specified that?

With my follow-up review I tried to cover how well the product has held up and how pleased I've been with it.
