Blindfold ball gag - mouth gag discontinued by Pipedream - review by RosesThorns

Ball gag and blind fold combo, used to limit the vision and vocal ability of a submissive partner for a short amount of time. This combo is set up to be used together and not independently, which makes it a bit of a uni-tasker, but its a great concept. Why not have 2 in one right? Well, what if you don't want to use the eye mask or the ball gag? Too bad, it's either used or in the way. I used this the other night and while it did its job I can't say it did its job well.

The design is a bit wonky if you ask me, again it was a great concept but not a great product. It consists of two straps, one that has the eye mask attached and one with the ball gag attached. Now the eye mask is held to the elastic straps with stitching that seems fairly sturdy, the mask its self is thin leather that is rather soft and supple and light over the face, it does block out light and hinder vision. The Ball Gag itself is a second strap attached to the first with rivets and the elastic seems to go through the rubber ball. I think it would fit a number of faces/heads, it fit mine fairly well. Although I am concerned that the elastic may lose it's strength over time.

A note of the ball, its rubber, it tastes and smells like rubber. I didn't care for that much personally.

It stood up to my tests. I stretched it and bounced it and used it in practical application and it did hold up. I think it is a bit on the cheesy side and not the greatest (I mean in a world of Aslan Leather this is on the shallow end of the gene pool) but really it's not terrible. I probably wouldn't brag to my friends about it but it isn't bad to have in my toy bag.

With the ball part of the gag being rubber, I don't really recommend sharing it cause its porous and the mouth is full of gross bacteria that could live on/in the ball and possibly make someone else sick. I would wash it with warm water and anti-bac soap and let it air dry. I keep mine stored in a zip-lock bag in a dark drawer.

Lets face it, there is nothing subtle about the packaging of this product. I was actually planning on keeping the box for mine for storage but it ended up getting tossed out during a mad dash to clean up for my birthday get together.
