Care:

Cleaning your whip is a breeze. With rope you can wash it by hand in warm sudsy water and hang to dry. The handle can be cleaned with a damp soft cloth or your favorite toy cleaner.

Since this flogger is made from rode there is no concern with storing it. You can wrap it up and put in the bottom of a drawer or in your toy box. However, I prefer to keep my floggers hanging in the closet.

The nature of woven rope is to fray and come apart. To prevent this there are a few options. Such as, small knots can be tied in the ends of the rope or fray ease applied to the ends. Rest assured, adding knots to the end of the falls will not add weight and thus produce a stronger sensation with the whip is used. However, I have found a rather creative idea for our flogger. To heighten the sensations during sensory play, I have frayed some of the falls half way and added a knot. Also, on other falls I have chosen to simply tie off the end with a knot. This has created a rather nice soft tickling flogger that we use not only for sensory play but also flogging of erogenous zones.
