Icicles No. 38 - dildo discontinued by Pipedream - review by Miss Anonymous

I love Icicles new line. I don't think so far I've come into contact with something I don't really like. I've been very happy with everything I've ordered from them. The Icicles No.38 is one beautiful dildo/ flogger. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. This Icicles doubles as a dildo and a flogger. It's perfect for anyone even if you don't want to use this as a flogger. I'd recommend using this in only bedroom setting and away from water. The only caution I'd recommend is when thrusting or using anally, I'd recommend being careful because it is glass and it doesn't have any give and you can cause some damage if you are too rough.

The Icicles No. 38 is made out of two different materials because it has two different parts. Then handle which also doubles as a dildo is made out of glass. Glass is a very hard material and can't be bent or anything so you will need to be very careful when playing with this. The has isn't realistic at all and is perfect for those who like glass toys but don't want something realistic looking. Glass is perfect for beginners and the more advanced. Glass is non-porous and doesn't hold onto bacteria so this makes the perfect material for sharing. This glass also has some mild texture, the texture is noticeable when holding it in your hand, and when using it vaginally and anally. The texture is more of a wavy design and actually looks really nice.

The second of the two materials is the flux leather strings that are on the base of the glass dildo. This can be used as a flogger, so you can use this end to lightly play with yourself or partner by either slapping it against your skin or even running it over your body. The Strings are soft and feel wonderful against the skin. It doesn't have that gross smell that some leather items can have, even fake ones. You don't have to worry about airing it out before use. The leather strings are perfect for beginner and the more advanced who isn't looking for something that can deliver an extreme sting.

The Icicles No. 38 isn't very discreet. You wouldn't really be able to keep it out in open view. You will need to do some work when putting it a way. It works perfectly for its intended use and a couple of extra ones. The shape and length of the handle works perfectly for penetration and it works to double as a wonderful handle. In total the Icicles No 28 is a little over 6 1/2 inches and it's even longer if you take into a account the flogger end. If you count those the flogger is well over 15 inches long.

The Icicles No. 38 isn't realistic looking at all. It's perfect for those who don't want something hat resembles a male penis. It's also the fact that it also doubles as a flogger so that throws the realistic view out of the window. The icicles No. 38 is perfect for anyone, it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or someone more advanced. It's appealing to a larger group of people because you don't have to use it as a dildo. You can just use it as a wonderful flogger that has a beautiful glass handle.

The icicles No. 38 has this thick shaft but it also has this bulbous end and it gives you his popping feeling when you remove it. This also makes it perfect for anal use if you choose. I even seen a comment on the product page about this being able to triple as tail. It's a pretty neat idea that I didn't even think about.

The Icicles No. 38 is a little heavy so it does provide a little weight so for those who like weight with their glass dildos, then this would be a wonderful addition to your own personal collection. You wouldn't have a problem traveling with this but it isn't something that you can toss into your bag. You may need to make special arrangements when traveling. You wouldn't be able to check this in with your carry-on luggage because it could considered to be a weapon... Kind of funny right?

You can use this flogger on yourself but you can also use it on your partner. It doesn't matter if you're using it to penetrate yourself or your partner. You can also use the flogger to run along your skin or your partner skin to lightly tease yourself. When it's ran across your skin it kind of wakes up your skin and makes it tingle. I'm personally more into it as a glass dildo then I am a flogger. It makes a wonderful flogger but I do wish it offered just a little extra sting. That would have been amazing. Because it doesn't offer that amazing sting that I wish it would, this would be perfect for beginners and those who want something lite and aren't into extreme rough play.

I didn't find it a little annoying to use sometimes because of the flogger strings. When using it vaginally, I had to wrap the flogger strings around my wrist so that it wouldn't get in the way during use. The flogger strings can also be annoying when needing to use a lot of lube. I personally had to braid it up to keep the strings from getting in the way. I did enjoy the texture of the Icicles No.38, the texture isn't overwhelming but it's very stimulating.

Caring for the icicles No. 38 is very easy but it take a little extra work because of the leather type strings. Those cannot be submerged in water and should only be whipped down with a wet cloth if they were to become dirty. You can dry it off by letting it sit in open air, but you can also take a dry cloth and completely dry it off. The dildo/ handle is very easy to clean because it is glass. You can use mild soap and water but keep the flogger end out of the water. You can use a toy cleaner of your choosing. You can also use 10% mild bleach solution. You can use any lube of your choosing. When storing it you can store it how you would normally store your glass toys. I do wish this came with a wrist strap so that you can hang it up.

The Icicles No.38 comes inside of the normal hard icicles box. The items is pictured on the front and back of the case. You can also view the toy without taking it out of the box. The package isn't remotely discreet but it can be used for storage. But can also be a problem because the case can take up more room than you would like. Icicles No. 38 doesn't come with a storage pouch so you will need to get your own storage pouch if you want. The box doesn't have any care instruction on it or anything.

I'm personally loving every bit of the new Icicles line, everything I've gotten has been near or perfection. I would highly recommend this one to anyone. I did find a few areas that did seem to be a problem for me. I noticed that the flogger strings weren't as sturdy as I would have liked them to be. I wish that the strings were a little thicker just so they would offer a stronger sting when using it as a flogger. But it isn't the worst nor is it a reason for me to personally vote this item down because of it. The only reason why I gave it four stars and not five is because of the darn strings when trying to use a vaginally. You have to find away to gather them up and keep them out of the way. I found wrapping them around my wrist or braiding it up does work for me.
