The Impressions Love Paddle is a great addition to your collection if you are into either light or heavy spanking play. This was my first paddle and I have had it for over a year now.

This paddle is listed as being made out of leather. I am not sure if it is 100% genuine or if it is made from some type of fake leather. As I mentioned, I have had this paddle for more than a year and I have not had any issues with the material degrading. In between the leather that makes up the paddle is the pink makes the letters visible. This is made out of some type of paper that feels like a combination of thin construction paper and parchment paper in my opinion. With this being said it is not the most durable and I have had some issues with it ripping, although it is mostly still intact. When you move it around it makes a lot of noise due to the flapping of the two sections that are separated by this piece of paper. It works well for letting a blindfolded partner know exactly what is coming.

The whole paddle itself measures a little over a foot in length and is very light weight and easy to hold. You will not get tired of holding it if you want to give your partner a lot of spanking over a long period of time. The part of the paddle used for spanking, has the word “Love” spelled out backwards. It gives the impression that if you use it hard enough then the letters will be left behind on your lover’s body. In my opinion you have to do some serious spanking to make this happen, and that is something I am not ready for, so my partner was unable to get the letters to appear on my skin while still being within our limits.

I feel like the price of this item is decent and that it is a good product for people who are testing their limits or their desires for spanking play. There are a few other word choices and designs if “love” isn’t your thing, so I suggest giving it a try if you have been considering it.

I have been on the receiving and giving end of this paddle on many occasions and both experiences have been good. I was a little nervous about getting a paddle to begin with and then giving complete control of it to my partner. You get a good slap with it no matter how much strength is behind it, but the fact that the pieces of the paddle are not connected makes the shock absorption better. If you turn the paddle around and use the side without the letters, you can definitely feel each slap more.

I have not been able to get the letters to show up on me or my partner, but I have a darker skin tone which may make it harder than someone who is lighter and who marks easily. I think that eventually I want to try another paddle that may leave marks, now that I have more experience with spanking, but this one does the trick.

My partner lets me use this on him sometimes and this is when I realized just how much I like the sound it makes prior to making contact and when it makes contact with skin. Overall I think this is a good item to add to your collection and add some variety in your sex life.

I enjoy this used on my ass and thighs, but one day my partner surprised me and used it on my breasts. I have to say the sensation was very stimulating and I liked it more than I thought.
