New to BDSM? Just breathe.

I was really excited to use this product and I’m so glad I got it. As a first ball gag it lived up to all my expectations so if you’re looking to try one out, I would definitely recommend going with this one.

Use

Due to the “breathable” quality of the gag, this toy is great for beginners to bondage (such as myself). The size and features of the toy are nonthreatening to those worried about trying a gag for the first time. Beware, though! If you and your partner aren’t into (or are completely turned off by) drool, this might not be for you. As with just about any gag, you will start to drool after more than a few minutes of use. That being said, if neither of you mind, this gag is great for couple who are dipping their toes into BDSM.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

Personally, I'm not one for cheap leather, which is what the straps of the gag are made out of, but I can let it slide for a product that’s only $11. From what I can tell, there isn’t any real danger of the straps breaking. If you handle the product with respect, you’ll get many years of use out of it.

As for the fit, the gag stays in my mouth perfectly and comfortably. It keeps the mouth open with plenty of room for your tongue. If you have a smaller mouth, it might be too big for you, however. The taste isn’t that great, but I don’t know what you would expect from rubber and the smell is hardly noticeable.

Performance

I think that product is absolutely sexy. I love it! It’s really as simple as that. I was worried that using a gag wouldn’t live up to my fantasies, but this has definitely reaffirmed my love of a light BDSM in the bedroom. I have yet to find any “off label” uses for the product, but my boyfriend and I love to experiment, so I’ll put those in a follow-up review if I find any. Overall, using this product is a fun and sexy experience.

Follow-up commentary
As much as I love this toy, I find that I just don't use it as much as I thought I would. A lot of my play in the last year has been solo and as I result, while I love how good this is for beginners and how it actually doesn't have a completely repulsive taste, it's fallen to the back of my toy box.
STILL, HOWEVER - I would recommend this to any bondage newbie who's looking to dip their toe in the water with a sexy new gag. Hopefully you can use yours more than I use mine!

Thanks for the review, Remus. This does look like a good price point for couples who are not sure whether or not they'll like gags, but I'm curious about how the bindings work, and the minimum and maximum sizes it'll fit.

Antipova: You adjust the size with a typical buckle and there are holes all the way around. I'm sure if you can't find a whole that would fit you perfectly, you could easily make a new one.

  • Breathable Ball Gag - would you use it?
    • i think it would be perfect for me. i cant do a solid ball....who else cant?
    • I CAN, but prefer not to. I actually have the one that has an "o" ring that goes in your mouth, so I can breathe through it.

      I have this but the strap kind of broke eventually :/ we're looking to get a more heavy duty one. It's a shame they don't make this in higher quality
