Nights in White Leather
These cuffs are multi-functional (wrist AND ankle), and make it easy to be comfortable while tied up, both important things to look for in a restraint. Add to this the pretty factor, and I know I'm not the only one sold on them!Published: September 24, 2008
Pros:
Pretty, great quality, dual-use, comfortable.

Expensive. White gets dirty easily.

I was on a mission; a mission to find comfortable, functional (read: able to withstand a large amount of stress) and pretty leather cuffs. Yeah. Tall order. A tall order that these Aslan Luxe Cuffs were actually able to fulfill.
I have a decent pair of higher end leather cuffs. They're red and black (sexy), and fun to use, but the leather isn't very flexible, so it digs in a bit, and if you wear them for a long period of time, they aren't so comfy. Ergo, while they don't get the big red fail sign, I was in search of something better, something more.
These cuffs, they're it. Like everything made from Aslan, they're great quality; you can feel it in the leather, and the buckles and D-ring withstood the test of two larger women pulling against them. The inner leather is soft and comfortable, but still breathable (unlike the faux-fur lining that some cuffs offer, and that I've found gets sweaty and matted after play). I wasn't sure about the color, but I've actually grown to love the stark contrast of the white cuffs against my black sheets.
If you're going to hook them to something, I recommend running over to ACE or Home Depot, and picking up a few metal carabiners for using to hook the D-rings to things -- you can also thread rope through the rings, and tie someone up that way.
These work fairly well as ankle cuffs. On my wrists, they are on the smallest or second smallest hole. On my ankles, they are on the second to biggest hole. Ergo, there is some flexibility (on my current partner, the ankles are on the largest hole). I like them as ankle cuffs especially, as while it's ok if the wrists get a little uncomfy, I know I like a lot of comfort in my legs while being fucked, and assume that others feel the same.
To clean it, Aslan recommends either leather cleaner, or wiping them down gently with a little soap and warm water, and then letting them dry. They also suggest painting the metal parts with clear nail polish, to keep them from tarnishing, or some such thing, but I have yet to try that.
Lastly, these cuffs are pretty enough to wear as a fashion statement to a play/fetish party, or what have you. And we all know how important is!

Experience
The first night I got the cuffs, I lead F to the bedroom. We were making out as I tied up her arms with my old cuffs, and she said something slightly snarky. "Watch what you say, or I'll tie your feet up too." There was a naughty gleam in her eye, and she ran her mouth again. Without a second of hesitation, I placed her ankles in the new white cuffs, tying her spread eagle on my bed, and then fucking her pretty much speechless.
Afterward, the first thing she remarked on was how comfortable the cuffs were. Not my skillz, my prowess, needing water, nope. How comfortable they were. Can you get a better recommendation than that?

When you say they get dirty easily do you mean they stain? Or get scuff marks?

I have them in cherry red, awesome and they don't show dirt or stains. I have worn them out to a club, they look like funky bracelets.
