If you are just starting to explore the bondage world (like me) then this is a kit that will make those first few steps a whole lot easier. This is an under the bed restraint system which means it can be used to tie your partner down no matter the size or style of your bed, weather you have bed posts or not. It is also completely adjustable which means you get to set your own comfort zones and limits.

The design of this system if fairly simple. There is a long thin (1 inch wide) nylon strap that lays under the bed (best if centered) with two equally long nylon lengths attached to each end. We have a double and with a little adjusting it fit really well. There's definitely enough material for it to fit a larger bed.

The four cuffs are all exactly the same so it doesn't matter which ones you use for your arms or legs. Each one is 2 inches wide with a velvety inside and a nylon strap on the outside. There is about 10 inches of velvet length in each cuff (and even more Velcro). I can bind both of my wrists easily inside of one cuff (my wrists are about 6 1/2 inches around). Each cuff has a metal jump ring attached to the outside and a metal clip to hook onto the system attached to that. I found them very comfortable to wear as long as they weren't put on too tight and they didn't irritate my skin at all when they rubbed against it. I really would have liked if the clips on the cuffs were attached to the system rather than the cuffs because then it would have made it easier to swap in some of the other sets we have.

I love that everything is adjustable. If we switch beds I don't have to worry about buying a whole new kit for the new bed. The cuffs are adjusted with the Velcro. The adjuster for the tethers is a little plastic piece, which makes me nervous, but it hangs down the side of bed so I don't foresee it breaking anytime soon. It's exactly like an adjuster you would find on a backpack to adjust the straps so it's very easy to use. Just a little tug tightens it.

I'm quite pleased with this set and I can see it lasting a very long time.

This system was super easy to set up. I had my boyfriend hold the bed up while I layed it out across the box spring and pulled the tethers up either end of the bed. There's even a cute little diagram on the box to show you how it's done if you're really having trouble.

It was also easy to adjust both the cuffs and the actual system itself. I found that there is a lot of moving room with this system. Especially when the straps are at the top of the bed. I was easily able to move my hands towards each other and undo the bindings. We ended up moving them to the sides of the bed which removed the ability to undo them and made the restraints a lot more restraining.

Most importantly, it held up through all of the tugging we put it through. The Velcro stayed fastened, nothing broke and it was fun. The bed moved a little, but it wasn't a bad thing. I don't think that this would hold up to extremely heavy play, but it does a more than pleasing job at restraining someone.

This is definitely one of the easiest toys to store as it can stay right where it is. If you don't want the straps or cuffs hanging down the end of your bed you can easily tuck them under the mattress and no one would be the wiser. If you need to clean it off a wet cloth should do the trick or you could take it to the sink and scrub it.

This system came packaged in a small white box. There's a picture of a girl modeling the restraints on all four sides. There is also a small description of the items and two pictures showing you how to lay the restraints under your bed on the back. No other instructions come with it. Everything came neatly tied together and attached inside the box.

I am in every way in love with this kit. The cuffs are very simple, not many frills, but they do the job. They've stood up to all the pulling and tugging I could manage, which is good enough for me! The cuffs are very easy to put on and even easier to take off. I enjoyed the flexibility of the system and range of adjustment it allows. I like that you can start out very loose and tighten the system as you become comfortable. This is definitely a system I would recommend to a friend who was interested in trying out a little bondage.

From a beginners stand point I gave this 5 stars. I wasn't looking for something pretty and I wouldn't have been comfortable being completely 100% unable to move, especially since this is a new area for us. I feel the set is constructed well and that it does what it's meant to.
